mostly because of bigger budgets making scheduling harder. higher profile actors, bigger crews, potential location filming, more time required for effects and post production.
I also heard writing takes longer because it has to be refined and tightened to fit in shorter seasons.
covid and writers strike also made everything worse for a while.
and part of it is probably intentional trying to milk the golden goose for as long as possible. apologies for the mixed metaphor.
no one said apple doesn't collect any data at all. The fact that your article says apple collects some data relevant to their services, which people choose to use, does not mean they are listening to everything on your device's microphones.
Started watching the next generation of The Grand Tour, and i’m pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure if these three will ever be as good as Clarkson Hammond and May, but they are already better than all the versions of top gear after CHM. They picked three proper car nerds rather than celebrities.
It’s a clever idea, although obviously many consumers are nervous about a proliferation of always-listening devices. The feature will be opt-in and obviously, Apple will tout its stringent privacy-preserving implementation compared to the competition. Apple’s version will not actually store audio recordings, nor will it present a transcript of conversations.
emmys aside the show was not that great. maybe it could have improved given another season but of all cancellings this isn't the one to get up in arms about.
also Jobs may not have had any great products released in the last 15 years either. paradigm shifting stuff like ipods and iphones only come along once in a while.
granted the products that have been released probably would have been different in some way under jobs. For example, maybe Vision (or something like it) would have been more successfull under him. But we will never know.
No punishment was never an option for the other 29 (lesser) billionaire owners. They don’t actually want to give players any more money, which they would have to do if Ballmer received no punishment and kept circumventing the cap.

that seems irrelevant to this issue. this is about people who do initially watch that lose interest.

how can they do that if the data never leaves your device?

Try Widows Peak, light horror with Stephen King vibes.
i just don’t understand who needs an ipad mini sized screen in their pocket all the time, even if it is foldable.
If they ever make a docudrama about AI like The Social Network, Matthew Rhys is a lock for Dario Amodei.
dude this has nothing to do with childfree.
Fuck Yeah

unless LG skips DNS entirely and hard codes its IPs.
agreed. Cage was entertaining in the role but the show in general was forgettable.

“smooth” jazz.

that's an inherent problem adapting a book to visual medium. word for word adaptations just don't work.
airpods are also really popular.
