I have heard that you can flash the tufa bulbs with localTuya, so if you are comfortable with flashing your stuff, that might be an option. I haven't tried it myself though, not quite there yet on a skill or comfort level. I now use openhab, so I don't know if it would work the same, but openhab used the cloud only for discovery and does local control, as per the information on the binding. I don't know if it works the same way in homeassistant.

from what I heard (I may be misremembering some things), there was a lemmy theme that had a file included in it with a bunch of instances (iirc) and users that got hidden (maybe it was more severe than just hiding? ). I think all this stemmed from a personal vendetta that the theme creator had.

I apologize for any inaccuracies that may be contained within.

yeah. also under 30, but my family has a bunch os old technology kicking around. I used Windows Vista on an old HP Media Center PC for a while, we have a few floppy discs lying around, along with an old Compaq Presario running Windows ME. from my experience, it wasn't so bad? currently, I'm obsessed by a Casio digital organizer from ~1969. the topic of this post has escaped me quite a while back (sorry for that), but yes, things were quite fun from back then. Is it weird/ unusual/ odd that I miss those times even though I never lived through them?

I actually did this a few years back, and I do NOT recommend. it tasted way different from what it smelled like. (iirc, kinda bitter/pungent was the only thing I remember)

yeah, my first boot into KDE Plasma (technically Linux Mint/ Cinnamon) brought me the strange inner peace that i am now used to when I decided to try Windows vista on an old PC (at least the first few minutes, you really can't do anything without a graphics card).

I just put all my files into folders by language. Everything else is done with the music player with any playlists exported to m3u.

they made Google lens ai, and it SUCKS. I tried 2 queries on the same exact image and it returned completely different results...

looking for alternatives now, though doubt there will be many.

sigh very typical....

if this problem gets too out of hand, my mind went to defederation. perhaps too extreme? there has to be a reason the .world admins didn't do it yet. idk if .social defed from ml, but perhaps reason...?
