Oohhh, because of Chali Kirk. I'm reading this wondering what Star Trek has to do with it.

Tattorack@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 25d

Yeah... Had me too.

k0e3@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 24d (1 reply)

Yeah it took me way too long to remember that the shit bucket was converted into a fountain.

Crackhappy@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 24d

I want to use that as a threat now. "shut up shit bucket or I'm going to turn you into a fountain"

Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 25d

Yeah, I thought the same thing at first.

XD I once got a very disapproving look from my grandmother for referring to the salt shaker as the "JFK edition", because it had one more hole than the pepper shaker.

lolrightythen@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 25d

Grammy should has praised that!

MutantTailThing@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 25d (4 replies)

What if nobody shot JFK and his head just did that?

mrmisses@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 25d (3 replies)

Presidents heads do do that from time to time, I hear

baggachipz@sh.itjust.works · 9 pts · 25d (2 replies)

aloofPenguin@piefed.world · 9 pts · 25d

Skullgrid@lemmy.world · 28 pts · 25d (4 replies)

was he counting or not counting gang violence?

Godric@lemmy.world · 50 pts · 25d (2 replies)

He died doing what he loved: downplaying gun violence.

SkyezOpen@lemmy.world · 33 pts · 25d (1 reply)

He died for a cause he loved and that's all anyone can hope for.

“I think it’s worth it. It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That’s a prudent deal. It is rational,”

Sadly enough, broken people often create some of the best art. See Robin Williams, Van Gogh, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Heath Ledger, Richard Pryor, Plath, Johny Cash, Brian Wilson, Kurk Cobain etc. Also, please note that this is not a rule, there are always exceptions. I feel imho when you are going or have been through hell. You have a outlook or understanding of life, that often others dont.

VindictiveJudge@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 25d (2 replies)

Robin Williams killed himself due to a medical condition rather than a physchological one, and Heath Ledger's death was accidental.

teslekova@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 24d

Accidental, but made far more likely by risky behaviour due to mental issues. It's a grey area.

OttoVonNoob@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 25d

On a quick google Robin Williams suffered from depression and aniexty possibly due to his undiagnosed disease. Heath im not sure about im getting mixed google results sorry:X.
