I will defend this point(not any of the other ones tho)

Science is inherently bound to our culture in what we value, how we believe truth is produced, what we do and do not accept as valid criteria for classification.

taxonomic classification is useful, but relative to the culture that produced it, which is in large part dominated by "white" culture. A different cultural group might split along different lines.

There's also massive heatwaves in the Netherlands and Germany, there might be more that I don't know about

e: in France, Italy and Britain also. Not in eastern Europe yet, at least not where I am currently

They're fucking awful. I clicked through the xitter thread to someone with a milady pfp and they seemed to be shilling a crypto trading/sports betting platform called ourbit, which gave me a bit of a shock. I haven't dug deep into it because I am currently hiking in Estonia, so it might have no significance whatsoever, but I think remilia is somewhat connected to urbit so there might be a connection there

e: typo

I looked at their online congregation(because there are no chapters in my country unfortunately) and they seem to be doing a lot of work on prison abolition and making prisoners' lives more bearable. I might actually try joining them, and I will at least join a few of their meetings and such.

when selecting any single person there are multiple things about them that are not average (plays violin/is gay/has 3 cats/…) yet we would still denote them as average people. So it very much does feel like the difference is a moral judgement
