Went to my university library and checked out a ton of books about death. It was helpful to get a lot of takes on it, including multiple philosophical and religious deep dives. I no longer feared death afterward for some time. It gave me the courage to ditch my shitty job and start a new life 1500 miles away on a shoestring budget. Sometimes you've just gotta shake things up to feel alive again. Even if it means living like a hobo for a while.

People don't care about anything that doesn't affect them personally. They never have and they never will.

They will laugh and spit in the face of those who have been affected without realizing it. This is a clown universe.

Thief 2 is the only game that has come even close to replicating the feeling I had dumpster diving after dark. It gives you the exact same type of butterflies in your stomach and the same elation when the job goes off without a hitch.

I can easily say it's the best stealth game ever made and the runner-up is so far behind that you need a microscope to see it.
