That's a good point. Did that boss never drink coffee from anywhere else? Surely they would know what a normal one would taste like.

Yes, the widespread misuse and abuse of antibiotics is a huge problem. Don't tell the antivax RFK fans about it though, you'll give them new ideas.

Wouldn't it be nice if more folk were just reasonable about things? Life would be so much easier and more fun.

There was a time that you could download patches for offline PC games. The game developers/distributors put them up on their websites. I like the idea that you could download and archive them alongside the original game files so you can still have the fixed game long after the developers have gone bust and their site has gone.

I've often thought that we could polarise the headlight glass one way, and then windscreen glass the other. The glare off the road would still hit you but the lights themselves would be much darker, but still enough for you to see they're there. The day-runners in the corners could still be unpolarised so you'd still see the vehicle. It'd be a bit more expensive and require collaboration between the manufacturers which are probably two large reasons why it would never happen.

I'm sure solving this problem isn't beyond the wit of humanity, but is beyond the expense threshold that the oligarchs will tolerate from their dividends.

As a man, I don't justify my choice of peeing positions to anyone. I sit or stand if I want to, and anyone who doesn't like it can fuck off and take their opinions with them.

This is also my concern. I have the XReal One Pro but without the camera attachment. Anyone who knows these glasses would be able to see that they don't have the camera. But, if everyone starts thinking all glasses that look like this are secretly filming, many of them are unlikely to know the difference between me watching Netflix and me spy-filming.

Fun fact about these islands: they used to be 11 hours behind UTC, which put them on the same date as the US and almost a full day behind the rest of the Asian Pacific islands. So, they just re-drew the date line in a big curve to their East, so now they are 13 hours ahead of UTC and their date aligns with Asia instead of the US. Intuitively it seems impossible that anywhere could be more than 12 hours ahead or behind, but then Kiribati came along. Must have driven Santa mad having to entirely re-plan his route.

I'm pretty sure that's a myth, but the analogy is still useful to get the concept across. It simultaneously amuses me and disappoints me that so many humans can be aware of this effect and still not recognise it happening to them, whilst the frogs aren't actually that stupid and jump out of the water.

Spurious shmurious! The causation here is clear: eating butter generates wind farms. Eat more butter to save the planet everyone! It's undeniable science!

Everything is flat! The third dimension is all in your imagination. You are being manipulated by Big Dimension! Do your research!
