Right, supported version is only 2.x, further down running 5.x via wine it says "more broken than version 2.5".
Maybe you can give a console based workflow another shot? I ended up using only git + tig + whatever webui is provided (github, gitlab, forgejo, etc). lazygit is also nice, but I use it rarely.
The domain name doesn't matter at all. The really important thing is the IP of your MTA (the server sending mails). Eg. if it was previously used to send spam you need to get a new one from your server provider, as it will be blocked everywhere. Also the server configuration needs to be good. Use dkim, dmark, spf, mta-sts, etc.
I'm comparing the github android app vs. a couple gitlab android apps vs. responsive web of github/gitlab. I'm not using forgejo, gitea, etc. much yet.
My main usage:
check notifications
check action results
merge prs
comment / discuss
track new releases of starred repos
track activity of ppl I follow
Imo nothing comes close to the ux of the native github app (yet).
2-3 days seems very optimistic, but it depends how much you enjoy tinkering with your setup.
Maybe consider dual-booting so you can go back to windows if something urgent comes up while you migrate.

Nah, all eu countries will honor their tax treaties with the us. If the us gov/irs wants to fuck over their citizens that's your problem.

I don't think this is correct. HSTS only prevents downgrading.

Recently watched https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Act_of_Killing so no longer suprised by anything happening in Indonesia. π
I still write all my scripts for bash (or busybox sh) with a shebang, then call it from fish.
Logic doesn't work for people trapped in a cult. They can claim whatever they want and don't need to admit anything, it doesn't matter. π

I'm running the same setup, restic -> b2. Offsite I have a daily rclone job to pull (the diffs) from b2. Works perfectly, cost is < 1β¬ per month.
Unfortunately Dave is an asshole who got sued for shipping scareware (I think). Fuck this guy.
Same, don't remember the movie at all. But Andor is really good, imo the best they did in decades.
