The device itself is a little thicker, no headphone port, the under-screen fingerprint reader is much less effective, the pinhole camera is in a worse location, and other than that it's pretty much the same.
I would have used my 5a into perpetuity but the screen spontaneously broke one day totally out of nowhere. Didn't drop it or anything, it just permanently froze while I was using it one time.
Turns out it might have been some moisture problem and people online said that it might work if you put the phone in the freezer. Well, that actually did work and I used it that way for a couple weeks. I would keep my phone in the freezer overnight and it would work for most of the day. But eventually that stopped working and the screen warranty had just ended so I got a new (worse 😡) phone. But I miss the 5a...

I looked it up before making my comment and couldn't find any info about what % of Americans drink water, only info about average volume of water consumption and average volume of soft drink consumption.
You are right that there is a problem in North America with soft drink vs water consumption and it sounds like you know more about it than I do. I only called out your original statement that "most don't even drink water" because it seems like a huge stretch beyond what the research I was able to find can actually support. The idea that >50% of people in America don't drink water regularly or ever still seems absurd to me. I struggle to think you even believe it yourself.
I took a college class once about early childhood development. We were looking at a map of countries colored based on how much paid maternal leave is required to be provided. There were only two countries on the map with 0 required.

The first season of Golden Kamuy was amazing but I took a break after the first episode or two of the second season and totally forgot the plot. It's pretty dense and has a lot of characters so it's easy to forget exactly what was going on last.
It's funny how before you are familiar with something, you can mentally place it in the same category as something it's totally distinct from. Like if I ever heard of people talking about Love Live or idolM@ster, I kinda just placed all that information into the same box.
I had always put Prison School and High School of the Dead in the same box. Both some kind of trashy ecchi with a surface-level heavy theme. But actually, they are SO different.
Prison School is so creative, the stakes and tension feel so real. The silliness and seriousness blend together perfectly. It's truly amazing and there's nothing else like it. Also, the soundtrack is among the greatest of all time.
The anime and manga kinda suffer from their own problems. The anime is just a little too short to cover the parts of the manga that were truly jaw-dropping, like the room full of snakes or the futon scene. On the other hand, the manga suffers from the INFAMOUSLY long and boring and just awful "cavalry battle" arc which is just as bad or worse than its reputation would imply. Some people also really dislike the very end but I actually quite like how it ended and can't really imagine there being a more sensible ending.
Startpage, but I haven't really been happy with it. Takes results directly from Google or Bing I think, and sometimes makes me do a captcha if I'm on a VPN. At least there's no A.I.
I also have Duck Duck Go, Google, Wikipedia, Wiktionary and a few other searches set to prefixes in Firefox so if I search "w bananas" it'll search Wikipedia, or "dd bananas" for Duck Duck Go, etc.
If I'm searching for something to read about basically and I think it's on Wikipedia, I'll usually start there with a direct search using my shortcut and not even touch a general search engine.
