Depending on how much effort you're willing to put in, I would suggest switching material.
Use fiber reinforced plastic.
The process can be done at home, though you may need some practice. You can print the shape you want with a thicker wall thickness and then use that as a negative. You get the best results if you have a compressor and can use vaccum techniques to get the excess plastic out of the material. This will put you in the thickness space you want, and it will still work, and you don't have warping problems.
When scythes were invented, they were a very hot, new, efficient tool. Previously they only had some curved had knifes and had to harvest every few bits of wheat individually, but with a scythe you could take those wide swings and get lots of wheat at once.
Think of it as going from a handgun revolver to a machine gun, except in a way that a medieval peasant would understand.
Open Source and git mean this is basically a non issue. It's just effort to manage it again.
People can fork a pre... 2020? version if they insist and if it's enough people who want that, they can group up again and form a new community.
The problem AI slop coding is mostly the untested bullshit that causes problems. That's not going to happen because I believe that a good bunch of stuff is thoroughly tested now, and also, this is maintainers doing it. If it doesn't work, it's their project, their career and their success on the line. And again, the worst possible outcome is that people have to roll back to an older version.
The code we use is not art the same way that gen-ai replaces "real artists". I agree with opposing that tech in that area, and I agree with rejecting unchecked, untested, hallucinated nonsense in coding too, especially when it promises new features in corpo software that you are forced to use, and then have that fail on you.
But there will be a very normal selection process happening. If the process doesn't work, the software will fail and lose users.
I fully support the people who absolutely reject it though, that means diversity of approaches and that's good.
I don't know much about 3d printing, so disclaimer. The modern printers are very much built on open source so it shouldn't matter too much which screen you use.
I have also not done a firmware flash myself yet, but doing that sounds plausible to me.
I can’t believe that was the only issue that made someone trash it.
As you can see (and as you will see), it's a bit tinkering leaning hobby, if someone doesn't have the energy, patience, skill or motivation to learn, a broken part can be a major problem. I don't think there are repair shops you can go to...
Something I feel about LLMs, and I'm surprised others aren't feeling it and building tools around it, is that I want to feel in control.
I would prefer if the LLMs made one click ready scripts or patches and then I click the button to execute it, and then the execution of the thing or merging happens without LLM involvement. If find it strange that everyone is so eager to hand the keys to the LLMs first and then put up some minor guard rails.
Cool project though, I can see how that would be desirable.
You are free to admit you like dictatorships, extreme policing and eradication of creativity and human emotion.
If you look at the death star, see grey, white and black imperial uniforms, how terrified people are upon making a single mistake because those incur the death penalty, and the disregard for life, both of victims and their own troops, and you think "that's a society I want to live in" there is really nothing left to say.
It's clean tho!! Can't are argue with that, right?
The klingon one is meh, because klingons don't cook their food.
But if I gatekeep that too hard we get less cool stuff, sooo... I'll allow it 🤣
Ask your local political party (or union) and volunteer for tech stuff for them.
Ask what they use, contribute to that. Or if they use something bad, suggest something good to them, then work on that.

Umfrage Antworten in "sehr groĂź", "groĂź", "weniger groĂź", "gar nicht" einzuteilen ist scheisse.

... until it's not.
The pervert glasses will first run object detection, detect your face and then blur it.
Soooooo...
Alternative suggestion: they should be banned.

FYI there are a lot winslow drives but only one
"demorest ave ne"
Funny how "unrelated" context based unique identifiers without direct correspondence to the original data still allow meaningful identification.
huh.
WHO KNEW.
1.000.000$? Just book a private flight. 1.000.000$ is "call the airline" kind of money. Call FedEx or something.
The smallest cargo planes can carry twice what you want in weight.

What the actual...
Good luck dealing with it over all.
Berlin hat Notfallpläne?
Sehr beruhigend irgendwie.

Danke das du den Thread aufgemacht hast, es ist eine gute Idee!
Im Zweifel können das mods entscheiden für 99% aller Fälle sollte es offensichtlich sein.
