Didn't get the semaphore part and thought those were fans with a wind speed sensor below, glad there's explainxkcd lol.

Using fans would make for a far worse connection than the one on the comic, at least that one is easily full duplex and somewhat free of interference.

As much as I want Audi to score points, I don't see a good reason for the appeal to succeed.

While he was indeed not in the best position on the grid slot, he was correctly parked within it; it seems it was the race director who wasn't comfortable with Yuki's position and ordered the extra formation lap, so they didn't blame it on the team or driver.

Also, please don't let this shit become another Monaco podium situation.

Nice race, I'm not a Mercedes fan but gotta say that's a great drive from Kimi, and good defense from George on those wasted tires. Ferrari though, guess home race curse had to hit someone and it wasn't gonna be the ex-teenager.

Audi once again just out of the points aahhh. This track didn't seem to fit them at all, no good pace through the weekend. At least good enough to almost kick Hamilton out in Q2.

And the Aston Martin magic they had at Zandvoort seems to have already faded out, back to your regular backmarker racing.

... I haven’t found one that works well with dialog, fixed sized, or modal windows well enough to not get annoying,

This so, so much. I:ve been on Sway (and i3 before) for a long time and this is such a pain in the ass.

Most gui programs that do more than a simple window just don't work well with them, dialogs filling up half your screen because of tiling, programs with detachable panels that turn into windows cannot be attached again because the main window doesn't detect it (puddletag is an example I've came across recently).

I know I can setup some rules to make the windows float or have the correct behavior, but it's just too much to fix every single broken dialog I encounter.

Quite an interesting race, from the clusterfuck of the first few laps to the close fights at the top near the end. Though the rain once again managed to avoid the whole race. Missed F1 during this summer break, today compensated that real nice.

Hulkenberg scored once again hell yeah, and what a save around the lap 1 crash! Also Alonso managing to get a P9 is quite nice, Aston Martin is getting there performance-wise. Also Tsunoda did a real good drive, liked the overtake on Gasly, quite bold move.

Such a weird team order by mercedes to swap Antonelli and Russell, even both of them questioned the decision.

Just looked it up, seems like Improve YouTube already does pretty much the same things as unhook (hiding unwanted sections, redirecting home to another page)

true, I currently have about 5 or 6 extensions to keep that crap usable.

Ublockorigin for ads, improve YouTube for misc enhancements (block shorts, delete button on playlists, codec options), hyperchat to optimize the slow chat on live streams, that no translation extension, sponsorblock to skip in-video ads and identify sponsored content. Theres also dearrow but I disable it for performance reasons.

On mobile it not better, but Morphe fixes all of those quirks too.

Just amazing how shitty a service can get, but shareholder value shall rise infinitely I guess
