An alternative to having depression is discovering a love for a new genre of content. As long as you don't get overwhelmed by how much will be available, you'll be set for a very long time.

Same, I have a small area on the edge of town with a road that only locals use which cuts through a lot of trees. All the older deer will wait and are rarely a hazard. All the fawns though? Gotta be extra careful of them.

I get why you'd dislike that wording, but this is also how all certificate stores work, regardless of whether we're talking Secure Boot, Windows or Linux. Gotta trust the top level as providing legitimate certificates to then trust everything underlying as coming from the correct parties.

Certificate are something I work with constantly at work and I fucking hate resolving issues with them lol.

Argentina and England are countries. Am I doing this right?

That was wild seeing Battle Beast after all this time. I saw it and immediately knew even though I haven't played it since the 90s when I got it for free for some promo. I think it was the art style that was distinctive to me.

Yeah this was the point I was about to say myself. It's not that Valve has me stanning them at all, but rather the experience has been the same since Steam's inception in 2003. I go to their Store, I buy the game (but really the game licence, now that we're more aware), I download it, and play it. Games almost never get removed from your library unless they find them to be malicious (I bought a key for Prey 2006 on eBay years after delisting and was playing it within an hour), so it's been rather reassuring that money spent is value retained in perpetuity until proven otherwise.

If Valve starts making the same terrible decisions though, they can receive the same pitchfork brigade as everyone else.

I do pay attention to what I'm actually buying now that I'm older and more knowledgeable about licensing, but don't let FUD ruin your experience as a gamer. Just keep your ear to the ground for any terrible policy changes.

Looks like Pro controllers tbh. Right color for it, same indicators for who is player 1 and 2.

Damn that's rough and sounds expensive!

It's funny, the first few times I smoked a joint with a friend, it barely did anything at all to me. Never had any more for many years, and the next time I was completely couch locked and was hallucinating while watching TV. Either my tolerance changed drastically or my friend's weed was weak as hell.

Yeah unfortunately I'm the same way. Have tried several CBD things and not one of them do anything for me unless I go max dose, and even then it's an incredibly mild effect. THC takes nearly nothing though, 15mg is enough for a very strong high. I have friends where the complete opposite is true and I would love to trade them.

When I started, it was also $1.25 (1996), but what was weird was this brief moment when it was $0.89. Trying to remember why, but I think it was following 9/11 and was after the price gouging started and the govt started going after gas stations.

I see you were also traumatized by the floppy release. Lol

I had pre-ordered the CD release from Babbage's, and went to pick that up. Being that I was only 15, I had to get a ride, and it was also 45 min each way, so this wasn't exactly easy for me.

When I got home, I still hadn't realized they gave me the wrong one and cracked it open to see the horror. Said screw it, I wasn't going to be able to go back anytime soon and installed it for the next hour or more.

Luckily, because this was pre-activation key (we remember those days, right? ... right??), when I took it back, they apologized and gave me the right one without much problem.

Only installed once from 14 floppies, but it still was terrible.

Completely agree. I will go out if invited out, but I don't go looking for reasons to be out at all. Cabin fever is a non-existent feeling here.

I'm never going to say that that game was for everyone despite loving it myself. And if a boss took me 15+ min to finish, I'd have been exhausted by that loop. But also the tools they gave prevented that from ever happening because they did provide the tools. Just sorry it didn't click with you, both story and gameplay.
