Silver slab reminds me of the meat slices that Aldi sells in their frozen gyro kits, probably the same thing, a slice of homogenized mystery meat. Not sure about the blob
He used tariffs, so he can't go too low on this list. Don't worry about the correlation between tariffs and the great depression citizen, big brother does the thinking for you so you can focus on sports and your two minutes hate
They do say measured in present value dollars, so technically this isn't inflation. But it is effectively interest. The idea that social security taxes should be a 0% interest bank account is absurd. Nobody would reasonably put their retirement savings in a 0% interest bank account, even one that is inflation protected, and expect to have a successful retirement. They also fudge the numbers by looking at the median retiree and not the average retiree. Social Security is a progressive payout system, meaning those who put in the most get the least back proportionally (it could be more harshly progressive IMO, but that is a separate conversation). Meaning that in a wealth-concentrated environment like ours, social security is effectively a transfer of wealth from the richest boomers to the other boomers, but Fortune pretends that isn't happening and chalks it all up as a transfer of wealth from millennials to boomers, which is quite disingenuous
I was guessing either it has fewer digits or the tens digit is less than 4 would be the desired answers depending on what the selected number was, that kind of question feels like it would predate negative numbers on the learning curve

Pretty sure that particular outcome isn't possible in TWD universe. They are all infected, they just don't zombify until they die

Lol, they can't afford to operate at the current state of zero regulatory burden. But they could use regulation as an excuse to effectively outlaw Chinese or open source AI
I'm sorry, let me correct my statement then. At no point did I have a vote in the selection of any of those democratic candidates, my rubber stamp vote for Biden did not select Kamala. There was no alternative for Spanberger, and my city just straight up cancelled their Dem primaries this year. There is a uncomfortably wide and long-running pattern of the field clearing for the party candidate before the question is put to the voters. But you got me on a technicality, I'm spouting misinformation
Every state had no democratic primary for president in 2024. Virginia had no Democratic primary for governor in 2025. Also had no democratic primary for senate in 2026. I'm sure you could narrow it down from there with a bit of research, but that's as close as I feel comfortable coming to doxxing myself
Haha, jokes on you my state democratic party decided it knows best and didn't bother to have a primary for any of my elected offices. Counting 2026, I haven't had a primary to vote in for my last House election, my last US Senate election, my last Governor election, my last presidential election, my last school board election, or my last city council election. I feel soo represented
Plus the 1.3T that the companies are actually reporting. Plus the equity value wipeout that could easily add another couple trillion on top of that. Plus the hundreds of billions of dollars in public wealth that will be burned in government handouts and subsidies to try and "soften the landing" (read: provide golden parachutes). It's gonna be a heck of a pop
Because you are sticking the other half of the cylinders in a motorcycle

The one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism!

Some rough math based on https://www.aircraft-commerce.com/wp-content/uploads/aircraft-commerce-docs/Aircraft%20guides/DASH%208%20&%20Q%20SERIES/ISSUE63_DASH8FUEL.pdf suggests a Dash-8 100 series aircraft (similar passenger capacity turboprop plane) would burn something like 57 gallons on a 27 minute flight, assuming $4/gal results in $228 fuel cost

Yeah, call me a Russian bot for complaining that the Democratic party is not as democratic as I wish it was. You're helping.

Acknowledges that candidates have to campaign against the couch as much as they have to campaign against their opponent. Valid, tbh
They've been caught before, which would make getting caught a second time even more embarrassing
