I have Pangolin setup on a VPS so I and my family can access it externally. It "bypasses" my router's firewall. Tailscale was a stupid solution because a lot of people will be using it and I don't want to maintain another service and be tech support for their tailscsle client. So the only thing I did to restrict access was by geoblocking.
Static IP for what? As long as you know the ip address of your jellyfin server you can connect to it. A static IP is just good to have for ease of remembering, using your own domain (not that you can't do it with Dynamic addresses) or if you are integrating other services with it. This applies to any service you host.
It is a decentralized messaging app that can work w/o the internet (ig it uses Bluetooth). So it is very useful for protesters in countries where the police use jammers to block network access.
People who like handhelds will buy handhelds. People who like consoles and people who like PCs will buy PC. It is stupid to lock software to one specific type of hardware.

I just hate the onboard car infotainment system. A car's job is to get me from one place to another. If you want to help with navigation, just give me a phone holder. That's all i need. I might just get a used secondary android phone just for the car if they keep pushing shit like this. I won't connect my primary device to the car ever.
The argument can also be flipped by saying that companies wonât make a better game on launch because customers are happy paying for a subpar experience even after knowing the game is not optimised. It doesnât matter to them when a few customers leave as long as they are making a profit and the stock prices remain up. And pre-booking sales already help them with that.
Agree with âjust cost of doing businessâ argument for Google. But market cap and fine amount ratio are totally unrelated. A companyâs stock price can be highly inflated in trillions in market cap and yet can have negligible incoming cash like maybe a few million dollars. So a fine of billion would definitely hurt them a lot.
Winzip, i think, is owned by Corel I think. Almost as evil as Adobe. In India over here a lot of small businesses use it and it is unaffordable for them to get such creative suites. Corel constantly sends notices to the ones using cracked copies and force them to buy it for 3 years to avoid legal damages.
