For swap, it hunts me to think some automatic process I don't have control over will burn those sweet erase cycles without me noticing just because someone programmed it poorly. I'm way more happy knowing I have some control over it.

It wasn't very often, but I don't get OOM killer often either (as in I don't remember the last time it happened and I use linux every day for both work and fun), and the freezing situation was way more annoying, to the point I sometimes ended up cold switching off the computer. I'm surprised on how many people run out of memory constantly. I guess you all are just using linux for servers and have crazy processing of infinite data...
I think it all comes down to netflix not greenlighting layer seasons until the previous one did well, and they release them complete. This means that by the time they decide to do a later season the whole team is working on other stuff.
Basically Netflix is handling business like a tech-bro company without stock, rather than a tv production company.

Humour is a very personal choice, and like colors, not everything being fun for the same people. On top of that, A TON of today's humour descends from friends, so the jokes feel dated and simple, but they were the literal origin of many tropes, at the time it was perfection, like a chewing gum.
And most importantly, nowadays people (specially chronically online people) can't just sit back and relax, they are always being judgemental little pricks to feel superior to everyone else, while not even trying to contextualise the time when what they are seeing was made.
Not to mention how sad it is that all the media, no matter the genre, have to pass their stupid moral compass (whether the progressive one or the conservative one). The whole sit back, relax and have a laugh is lost to them.

It feels to me so weird that: people impose their morals/values to others and they don't go and talk with the parents first instead of calling the police.
How is it liability for people minding their fucking business and not calling the cops when seeing other's people children playing? Like is USA so dystopian that you need a permit to let your kids play so you can prove it to random strangers so they don't call the police? From what I've heard from people living there, it gets more clear when you live, but didn't get any "I'm in danger" feeling from them, so I guess that low key discrimination is like that.
