Yes, it‘s truly insane that people trust the West so blindly, even though it’s well documented how the CIA and the West in general used misinformation and propaganda to destabilize communities and whole countries. Why should anyone think they ever stopped doing that? And what is it with their billionaires owned “free press”? Who would trust that?

Also the same for Austria, where the CIA with — with the help of the worker’s union (their president Franz Olah) and social democrats — installed GRDAGGER, funded one of the most vile tabloid newspapers and funneled union money to the rightwing party, which is now the biggest party in Austria.

Oh no, a country acts out of self-interest! A concept that is completely foreign to the West 😱 At least their “self-interest“ has cheaper EVs for the rest of the world as a result. What are the coeffects of the US defending their self-interests? Rise in facism? Another genocide?

I didn’t see any English articles about that, bit just recently it made the rounds in German speaking news outlets that cash is very well trackable. Thanks to the individual serial number on every euro bill, they can track you from the ATM to the bar. And banks, big supermarkets etc. already do it. There is even a German company selling this data.

More information (unfortunately in german): https://netzpolitik.org/2025/bargeld-tracking-du-hast-ueberwachungsinstrumente-im-portemonnaie/

It blows my mind how US americans just accept that they are having such a high murder rate at all. The murder rate in San Francisco is still too high, if you compare it with other nations and their cities. Considering how much surveillance and how much money their government pumps in the police system… you would think they finally would wake up and find out that all those measures are only in place to protect the capital of the ruling class and not the citizens…

Is it that easy?

  1. All the key industries of China are in the hands of the state.
  2. There’s no private ownership of land in China.
  3. China is the only major country where the number of billionaires actively decreases.
  4. China does not develop their economy with the sole purpose of profit.

Socialism is a process. Socialism isn’t communism. Socialism isn’t “the state owns everything”. Even Lenin argues that capitalists must be employed in the service of the new socialist state, but have to be suppressed under proletarian rule. I would say, that’s happening in China? And that’s what makes the blood of Western capitalists and their media outlets boil.

So I really don’t get why we shouldn’t support the biggest country that ever tried to implement communism? What do we get — except from despair — from denying the efforts China makes?
