It is a table, though it could also very well be a coffee table because I the original wooden panel was to long for the dining table i bought it for so I sawed the rest off and made a coffee table by upgrading an old IKEA LACK table I had laying around. However this picture is taken on the dining table . As for the ring I sadly do not remember the exact point in time it happened but I strongly suspect that it was coffee inside of mug which I regularly drink, in the morning, on that table. Regarding the used wood I am afraid I must disappoint you once more as my knowledge on it lacking. I have bought it in a local DIY shop in Germany so the chances are pretty high it was harvested in that area, however I guess you cannot be too sure about that nowadays. And as it not one solid piece of wood rather glued together I unable to count the age prior to harvest. Sorry about that. Im feeling a bit ashamed I do not know as much about the wood I dine on everyday, but if you have any further questions im happy to help.
With flathub its a bit weird as it lives inside a container in the .var folder. But luckily WW found the path for me so I did not have to look it up myself.
Im not sure if it told me to find the .exe as well, but it would really weird if did. I can look up the path later.
Depending on your distro you can also use the package manager on debian/ubuntu its called dolphin-emu
I did not get the decompilation to work though i have read that there should be an option under some kind of "experimental" category but did not find anything like that and looking through the sources it seems like its hidden away for now. But I think this is mostly because Microsoft just does not care, and if a big company comes knocking they are siding with them to get it over with instead of looking what exactly the legalities are.
I am using a Braun Series 5 (Made in Germany) and used it since 2018 without a problem. Threw it on the counter (dont ask me why)just last weekend it fell apart into its pieces but nothing broke, you can still get replacement parts.
You probably can't get that exact model but Braun (2018) is the best recommendation I can give RN.
I really like the clean UI, more curated list of community and focus on discussions. Many want to emulate reddit and their niche comms. But thats just impossible with the user base we have on here right now. I would prefer having just a handful of generic comms like. technology, food, meta, science, entertainment... still really enjoy it on here its the best attempt at decentralised social media.
I'm searching myself as I found myself in the same situation. I do tend to just go straight to the source and follow feeds from various Foss projects they are also not spamming you with articles and normally only post if if it its noteworthy.
I also am subscribed to AlternativeTo but they are also fairly slopified. You can probably filter it out if they tag the articles accordingly but didn't look into that myself.

I never Decompiled anything myself, but from the videos I have seen about it it does look rather tedious to push bits around all day long until they match. AI is kinda made for the job. Sure it makes it far less special than it to be a group effort, but it works. I just hope the models, maps and everything else are handmade.

They are working on bringing the Mod to the Decomp though. Still cool and the decomp should be playable as a standalone even if its still a beta.
Switching to Linux and Android makes me feel excited for new technology again. I did not felt that in a long time. All the software is just how it should be. No kings, no masters to appease–just the will to make something helpful. Also the homebrew community is real fun, hacked my DSi and Wii and I love how they reverse engineered a lot of servers that were shut down. Its small but fun–just the fact that we are all on a server that should not exists from all over the world brings me joy.

Yea I got it to work. (Not the wiicompiled part though)
I have downloaded both wheelwizard as well as dolphin through flathub. Dolphin even provided their own flathub repository which I used. https://dolphin-emu.org/download/?ref=btn#flatpak

Nintendo really does not have any legal basis to be able to kill it. Not a single asset is made by Nintendo.
