This causes me psychogenic pain to look at.

Reminds me of the silverware from 2001: A Space Odyssey

whoisearth@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 2y

It's like if AI made utensils. Kubrick was ahead of the game.

MechanicalJester@lemm.ee · 7 pts · 2y

Want

droog_the_droog@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Use this set at home. Really like it! Especially that the forks forces you to eat smaller bites. :)

Akasazh@feddit.nl · 4 pts · 2y

But how do you consume your moloko?

Empricorn@feddit.nl · 1 pts · 2y

Use chopsticks?

Squirrelsdrivemenuts@lemmy.world · 59 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Almost downvoted this post through pure instinctive disgust

BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world · 25 pts · 2y

I genuinely don't mind.

scottmeme@sh.itjust.works · 55 pts · 2y (1 reply)

-3/10 bad fork

caseyweederman@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 2y

Bad fork,

constantokra@lemmy.one · 39 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Looks like someone tried to use panorama mode with a camera from the mid 00s.

I know better, but I feel like if I grabbed that fork to use it, my arm might stretch out like that too, and i'd basically become a collection of wet floppy noodles instead of arms and legs.

Hegar@kbin.social · 10 pts · 2y

a collection of wet floppy noodles instead of arms and legs.

That basically describes me now. But my mother was a delicious bowl of liang fen so I feel like it's pretty understandable.

sentient_loom@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 2y

Or be pulled like toffee into another dimension, stretched infinitely.

Lexam@lemmy.ca · 28 pts · 2y (2 replies)

That fork has a lisp. And I can't explain that.

BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 2y

You're correct though.

dream_weasel@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y

I thought it might be trisomy 21, but that also fits.

Hobbes_Dent@lemmy.world · 23 pts · 2y

You may find beauty in it by considering its uses as a weed tool.

Everything looks like a nail when you’re hammered or something like that.

AltheaHunter@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 22 pts · 2y (1 reply)

10/10 as a weird collectible

0/10 as an eating utensil

hOrni@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

I think it would work fine. It has a handle and prongs, two things a fork needs. It only looks weird.

Nurse_Robot@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 2y

I fucking hate this fork

ramenshaman@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 2y

That fork is doing the best it can

GreenPlasticSushiGrass@kbin.social · 12 pts · 2y

I can accept the cutlery-divergent! But not autistics. Fuck them.

(Here's a /s for those who think I'm serious.)

342345@feddit.de · 12 pts · 2y

What the fork?

PapaStevesy@midwest.social · 11 pts · 2y

Looks like a Star Trek fork, I give it 3 out of 5 forks.

topperharlie@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 2y (1 reply)

jokes aside, is weird enough to look appealing to me, and probably functional.

InputZero@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 2y

Honestly my first thought when I saw this was that it had to be some type of homemade tool for car repairs. Car mechanics will make a tool out of anything if it gets the job done.

meowMix2525@lemm.ee · 10 pts · 2y

Sensory adventure 12/10

feedum_sneedson@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y

I fucking hate it. Viscerally so.

ZeDoTelhado@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y

It really looks like a repurposed knife at a glance.

email@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 2y (5 replies)

Looks like one i made in blender

abcdqfr@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 2y (4 replies)

The one in the kitchen I assume

email@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y (3 replies)

The one for making 3-d models

stringere@leminal.space · 1 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Why are you making 3d models in the kitchen? Use a computer program for that.

email@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Good suggestion, but I like making models in my kitchen

lugal@sopuli.xyz · 8 pts · 2y (3 replies)

4/4

sentient_loom@sh.itjust.works · 11 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Your 4-based rating system is almost as perverse as that "utensil."

lugal@sopuli.xyz · 9 pts · 2y (1 reply)

This comment was very helpful! It rate it with 7/7

shneancy@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y

i'd give it 5/7, perfect score

Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 2y

I'd still prefer this to one made of thin metal with one of the tines slightly bent

stringere@leminal.space · 6 pts · 2y

5/7 perfect score

Bronco1676@lemmy.ml · 6 pts · 2y

Knork/10

black0ut@pawb.social · 6 pts · 2y

Why is the prong at the right shorter than every other one? Bad fork, 1/5. Giving it a 1 and not a 0 because it's probably heavy and I like that.

olafurp@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y

It looks interesting but I'd be very disappointed if someone expects me to eat with it.

theodewere@kbin.social · 5 pts · 2y

there are images on the internet that just spread fear and confusion

zanyllama52@infosec.pub · 4 pts · 2y

Looks like a fork to me.

lemmyng@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 2y

What's the scale? It might be a passable seafood fork.

FartsWithAnAccent@fedia.io · 2 pts · 2y

Looks like one of those little seafood forks

Starkstruck@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

sheer-agony/10

Pickles!!

BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (2 replies)

I guess but I wouldn't want that in my mouth.

terminhell@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

What's wrong with pickles?

UnRelatedBurner@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y
