For "a little bit of trolling" I'd put this image:

Lemongrab@lemmy.one · 16 pts · 2y (8 replies)

Terrible. That still image just recovered buried memories.

lugal@sopuli.xyz · 11 pts · 2y (7 replies)

You know about the upcoming epilogue? I'm not trolling and this isn't a rick roll

Good bot

I didn't realize that there were multiple episodes after the nuke one, it certainly took a turn

NightAuthor@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Damn it, I trusted you

lugal@sopuli.xyz · 4 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Are you trolling? Because I'm not

NightAuthor@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Maybe a little…. Crazy that he got $250k off of a request for $22k

zer0squar3d@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 2y

I backed it and watched the live stream during the end time. He is truely a geniune guy and enjoyed backing not only for the content but for original content.

No. Like this ideology of putting yourself first is a bit stupid. you can't come up with univeral rules (at least ones that can be expressed in a small picture) for human interaction.

If you feel anxious but your family member needs a lift out of a sketchy party then yeah, you're a dick and should feel guilty for that. If you would have debilitating panic attacks while driving maybe not, but you're also shit if you don't call a taxi or something. We have obligations to each other. "we live in a society"

Literal@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 5 pts · 2y (4 replies)

The image is a joke

Maybe my post is a joke. Maybe you're a joke.

Donkter@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Anyone who spends time commenting on Lemmy is a joke.

naevaTheRat@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 2y

The real jokes were the posts we made along the way.

areyouevenreal@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 2y (4 replies)

If they put themselves in that situation you have no obligation to help them. Not saying it isn't a good thing to do, but the idea it's an obligation to save someone from the consequences of their own decisions is whack. You're only obligation here is to make sure you don't create situations that are dangerous. If everyone followed that rule there wouldn't be a problem in the first place.

naevaTheRat@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 2y (3 replies)

You from the usa?

areyouevenreal@lemm.ee · 1 pts · 2y (2 replies)

No

naevaTheRat@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

whack. I usually only see that opinion in usaians and teenaged to early twenties boys who've never been in trouble and needed help.

areyouevenreal@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 2y

What kind of thing do you even mean by a sketch party? Like a party where people do drugs or something? Been to plenty of those, they aren't inherently unsafe. Why wouldn't someone be able to call themselves a taxi? Not everyone can even drive in the first place. I certainly can't.

BreadOven@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Does recreational arson count as trolling? By the picture I assume that's what it's talking about.

What if my mistakes directly lead to someone else getting hurt?

Cfr I clipped a motorcycle with my car a few years ago. Guy broke his leg and totaled the bike and my car. You better believe I'll feel guilty for that one until the day I die.

I guess my mistake was simply not being attentive enough to the road. I wasn't speeding, I wasn't under the influence (it happened as I was trying to pull in to my work's driveway), I wasn't sleepy or tired. I simply somehow did not see the motorcycle coming towards me. There was no malice involved, nor negligence, but it's still my responsibility to pay attention to all hazards on the road and act accordingly.

emptiestplace@lemmy.ml · 16 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Sometimes our brains don't work properly. It's ok. You've held yourself accountable. You're a bit more careful now, and so is he. That's enough - it has to be.

Kyrgizion@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y

Thanks for the kind words. I can only hope he feels the same. I wanted to reach out but my insurance advised against it.

Agent641@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y

Finished him off with a tire iron and buried him in a shallow grave. Sold the bike to a scrapyard. Spent the money on whippets.

TubularTittyFrog@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

would you feel better if he sued you?

SkybreakerEngineer@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 2y

To the right column:

If I pretend I didn't do those things, it means I can't have grown to become someone else.

Journey before destination. It can't be a journey if it doesn't have a beginning.

only person who really will ever care about you is you. other peopel will say they care, but very few of them actually do. they just care about what you can do for them, and they'd gladly throw you under a bus if they felt that was in their best interest.
