There's a little magical spell in dnd called "prestidigiation" which can among other things magically flavor food but more importantly it can clean anything, be it dishes, clothes, or the floor. I would wish for that cantrip so fast.

If that's too big I would just want a pillbox filled with an infinite supply of adhd meds with no side effects.

God that spell sounds amazing

My wizard spent a couple skill points in hairdressing, and makeup so that she could "skip" her morning routine whilst adventuring. For anyone that says that was a waste of four sp, I was a wizard and getting more SP than our rogue.

I had a character that got a free "disguise self" once a day and I used to joke that she used it to disguise herself as "someone who gave a fuck".

Magically screen messy hair and pimples, and apply a mask of perfect makeup that never runs or smears with a magic word....

This one is 100% my vote too

A timer on myself so I can just fall asleep and wake up when I need to! Lord i wish I had that

Okokimup@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 348d

Ooh, that's a good one.

No food allergies, specifically gluten. It's hard being a foodie when so much effort has to be put into figuring out where I can eat.

And dammit I just want regular bagels and brioche buns!!!

LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 349d

Bagels are great. I feel your pain

Oh yeah that's a great one. I have GERD and I'm trying out quitting gluten. It's no fun

I'd wish my medications always had refills waiting to be picked up when I run out.

I'm sick of going back and forth with doctors just to refill pills I'm going to need for the rest of my life every month.

No more pooping. Ever.

LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 348d

Think of the time you'd save!

functioning ovaries 😭

though I'd run right into menopause, so maybe as a bonus the ovaries don't quit on me when I get old 😅

All those annoying monthly/yearly things taken care of automatically. No need to keep renegotiating car insurance because they arbitrarily decide to put your premium up. No searching for new credit cards deals. No dealing with the mortgage brokers once your fixed term is up. Electricity, internet, pet insurance, home insurance etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. all just automatically gets sorted out with the best deals.

WillStealYourUsername@piefed.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 349d (3 replies)

Really? All these things just sorta cancel and you have to sign up again, potentially for a worse deal?

Pipster@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 3 pts · 348d (2 replies)

They don't cancel, its the automatic renewal that is the problem. Car insurance prays on people that can't be bothered and lets it auto-renew... You see it go up by by 20% or something, phone them up and magically it costs less. They even have a button on their website which will renegotiate to a lower price automatically, its vile. Same with broadband. Mortgage is a fun thing every 5 years or so where you have to pick a new good deal that is only available for that time period before they go to the default rates which are disgustingly high. Credit cards do interest free credit deals for like, 2 years.

The amount these companies make from people being inattentive or unwilling to go through this every year is insane.

WillStealYourUsername@piefed.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 348d (1 reply)

Foul stuff. Here they are required to notify you of any changes. It's mostly just my bank and energy provider making changes once in a while

Pipster@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 348d

They tell you 30 days before what the renewal will be but it still requires doing something to get an appropriate price

I wish I could move around ink or pencil marks in a notebook, and between notebooks. That way I could better organize hand-written notes without wasting paper or having to use a laptop to type notes.

hildegarde@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 347d (1 reply)

My wife says the solution is a disc bound notebook. Apparently its very easy to remove and reorganize pages.

MystValkyrie@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 347d

Your wife is a wise woman. I will try that!

Two clones.

LadyButterfly@piefed.blahaj.zone · 3 pts · 348d (1 reply)

What if they turjed out evil?

ZDL@lazysoci.al · 5 pts · 348d

I said "clones", right? What other outcome was there going to be?

Nefara@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 348d

My own personal inventory, for carrying any items I could easily carry on my person but will just disappear and reappear in my hand as I desire. No more pockets, purses, totes or backpacks, just pick it up and it disappears into some ethereal space I don't have to worry about to be summoned back when I feel like it.
