As a bi person, I confirm they're related

FilthyShrooms@lemmy.world · 58 pts · 292d

It's actually wild how accurate it is

Anyways

AngularViscosity@piefed.social · 53 pts · 292d (5 replies)

I don't like frogs, that's why I'm not bi.

blackris@discuss.tchncs.de · 33 pts · 292d (4 replies)

I wouldn't say you are a completely bad person but not liking frogs sure is a stain on your biography.

sniggleboots@europe.pub · 47 pts · 292d (3 replies)

No, they aren't bi. A stain on their straightography

SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 292d (2 replies)

Or homography

sniggleboots@europe.pub · 6 pts · 292d (1 reply)

So true

porksnort@slrpnk.net · 5 pts · 292d

LMFAO

RedSnt@feddit.dk · 4 pts · 292d

That way of writing loss is ingenious

visc@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 291d

Double take on Unicode loss

nerfherder@lemmy.world · 24 pts · 292d

I give it, say 2 weeks, until the bi-frog meme barrage

AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space · 19 pts · 292d (1 reply)

Perhaps the confounding factor is neurodiversity? Anecdotally, a lot more neurodiverse people seem to be LGBT and vice versa.

tmyakal@infosec.pub · 12 pts · 291d

My suspicion is that neurodiverse people are already used to feeling marginalized and unacceptable for invisible reasons, so there's less of a social barrier-to-entry in coming out. Like, "Everybody already thinks I'm weird and doesn't want to hang out; might as well tell 'em I'm queer."

I think there are probably a lot of neurotypical people that have non-heteronormative impulses and try to quash them for the sake of social status.

ByteJunk@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 292d

I like frogs. I think there's a part of me I need to explore...

TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 16 pts · 292d (7 replies)

While I like most animals, I wouldn't say frogs are my favorite. I find bugs and snakes more interesting generally, but frogs are undeniably cool. Is my bi pass revoked, or do I get a pass?

krooklochurm@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 292d (2 replies)

They're changing the rules next month where you can't get your bisexual card unless you own 12 frog items, have a pet frog, are into anthropomorphic frogs sexually, or have ever tried to fuck a frog.

The criteria of being attracted to multiple genders still applies, but the frog addendum means it will no longer be the only requirement.

TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 5 pts · 292d

😭😭😭

Hazel@piefed.blahaj.zone · 3 pts · 292d

It ain't called amphi-bisexual for nothing!

Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 7 pts · 292d (2 replies)

I don't think they have to be your favorite you just gotta love em

D_C@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 292d (1 reply)

Whoa, there. Calm down. We need to find out their view of Kermit and Miss Piggy relationship before anyone hands out some free passes!!

porksnort@slrpnk.net · 3 pts · 292d

Ms Piggy was not exactly a ‘beard’ in the relationship, let’s just call it ‘complicated’. Kermit was clearly roomates with Fozzie. Sometimes they would all get Sweetums tipsy at the pool and things would get real fuzzy.

rumba@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 292d

No no no, but you don't get the extra stamp...

cAUzapNEAGLb@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 292d

Huh, well, i do indeed like frogs

fleebleneeble@reddthat.com · 13 pts · 292d

yup

A_norny_mousse@feddit.org · 12 pts · 292d (2 replies)

Alex Jones, is that you?

jballs@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 292d (1 reply)

How can anyone watch that guy and take him seriously? Dude's fucking psycho.

A_norny_mousse@feddit.org · 3 pts · 291d

He's only one in a long succession. Rush Limbaugh came before him, and many others (KnowledgeFight did a few episodes on this).

arrow74@lemmy.zip · 10 pts · 292d

Tbh, I don't know that I've ever met a straight Lexi, I'm sure they exist though

Its pronunced FRA-OOG

agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 292d

I probably have a slightly higher than average appreciation of frogs, and while ultimately straight I've been open to exploration and my vibe has been described as "bisexual-coded". So make of that what you will.

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 292d

No but the double denim may correlate

CallMeAnAI@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 292d

They are trying to relate it to the IKEA shark I would guess.

Rozauhtuno@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 292d

They shouldn't, but they are.

"i have a weird question for u"

"i am laughing my bum off. what is up!"

like - really? why? is it sooooo funi that u lose ur bum or is it like - just a thing peeps say like "yooooo", "..,.,.,,.,.." and "skibidi"?

its like peeps sweari g for no reaosn jus to make thwir statements feel like they got more weight - or politicians making topucs always a matter of national security and integrity or whatevr---

not eeeeeeverythin is sooooo funi that u lose ur bum. im kinda happy i still have mine, as sitting is one of my fav pasttimes <3

and then like -

"ur bisexual, right?"

"HAHA"

like - i thought we were over the times were a sexuality is a funi..... we prolli r but like - these messages jus feel soooo - stilted and false...

Hazel@piefed.blahaj.zone · 5 pts · 291d (1 reply)

It's not to be taken literal here, it's called semantic bleaching. Just saying 'lmao' (or 'lol') doesn't mean it actually made them laugh, it's just added to make the convo a little less serious :)

Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 291d

hmm - mayb inma try tha sometime -

laughing my bum off🤣🤣🤣🏥🚑😵😢😔😔😔🩸🪦, laughing out loud 🗣️🔊

pewgar_seemsimandroid@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 291d

DaPorkchop_@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 291d

most likely the entire conversation is staged, and they just inserted some random interjections to add "humor". or they're drunk. or maybe both?
