There’s no need to buy any of these streaming service that gives shit quality for expensive price and gives shit service like not allowing to share account or even casting to TV (yes, Netflix removed the ability to cast from phone to tv).

Human psychology isn't logical, and consumers are more adverse to paying a $30 monthly subscription than they are to paying for two $15 monthly subscriptions, despite being equivalent.

What would probably do instead is create reskinned clones of the Netflix app for each different brand they sell a subscription for. Limit infrastructure and development expenses by consolidating the backend, but keep the front-ends distinct enough that nobody realizes that they're paying $30 to the same company. That also has the benefit of being able to boil the consumer-frogs by progressively raising the price for all of their services by raising one of them and following up by raising the others to match the "competition".

And there'll still be too many damn streaming services.

Hasn't Netflix been "in gaming" a while? You can access a lot of games on mobile from them. I opened my Netflix Android app and just from the suggested I can play Red Dead Redemption, Story Teller, Dead Cells, Spirit Fairer, Shredder's Revenge, Street Fighter, and bunch of Choose your own Adventure type stuff from their own IPs. They've been angling in to game publishing for a while.

Let's say that Trump doesn't manage to cancel or subvert the next couple of sets of elections and that in 2029 the US has a democratic president and a democratic congress. Let's also imagine that the next president cares about monopolies and puts Lina Khan back in charge. I wonder if there's anything that they can do about decisions made by Trump's FTC. As much as I despise media consolidation in general, I couldn't be happier about the Batman Arkham franchise finally leaving the purview of such terrible leadership.

The shows are better in just about every way and they rely less on padding from Korea.
