Literally the plot of Back To The Future

Only if the lady started to fall in love with the time traveler. Otherwise a very very different story.

I think this implies he intentionally did it. Like a sort of temporal suicide... Which, IIRC, was not the plot for back to the future

The worst part is that, assuming your mom loved your dad and it wasnt a nefarious conception, your mom would probably totally fancy you like in the film.

Horrific but feasible

I dunno. I look almost exactly like my mother's father, so that would make things even weirder.

Lightfire228@pawb.social · 11 pts · 258d

I did do the Nasty in the Pasty

joyjoy@lemmy.zip · 7 pts · 258d

He was about to become his own father.

I mean, that’s certainly one way to end your existence

FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world · 16 pts · 258d (2 replies)

If time travel were a thing I would happily go back and prevent myself from being conceived. I'm not suicidal and don't want to die, but given the choice, I'd rather not exist than have to work for most of my life.

Start being a flashmob of more than one and you have an opportunity to change that.

FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 257d

In the future, please resist the urge to give people advice they didn't ask for. Thank you.

I like how they are just watching him fade like "it's probably for the best"

bandwidthcrisis@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 257d

Sorry, this doesn't usually happen. It's not you, it's the causality violation."

logicbomb@lemmy.world · 21 pts · 258d (3 replies)

Strange choice to make the time traveler a young child and eager to talk about their parents having sex.

baines@piefed.social · 24 pts · 258d

he knew

And009@lemmynsfw.com · 22 pts · 258d

Suicide, with extra steps.

LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 257d

Should have been a middle-aged haggardly man whose life has been miserable, making it clear why he'd want to go back in time to prevent his conception.

And Caillou was never born.

dreadbeef@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 257d

thats the last frame meaning i think

Vizzerdrix@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 258d

Hate it when this happens

samus12345@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 257d

It would be trivially easy to do this, too. If you delayed them even a second, a different sperm would probably fertilize the egg.

A_norny_mousse@feddit.org · 6 pts · 258d

wilt

Evil_Shrubbery@thelemmy.club · 5 pts · 258d

10/10 my first trip.

BackgrndNoize@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 257d

If I could time travel I would go back in time on the day of my conception and kick my dad in the balls so hard, he'd need medical attention
