Very well made - I think maybe originally a designer style, certainly quite high-end. Was going to donate it once my local Vinnies starts accepting clothing donations again - they aren't at the moment as they are chockers.

I’ve seen options for cats that need assistance (you manually squeeze the urine out for them by pressing their bladder) but it’s an around the clock thing and you’d have to think about his quality of life.

Studies have shown the best diet to adopt is the Mediterranean diet because of the inclusion of fresh fruit & veg, fish, lean meat, oil, yogurt, nuts, seeds & grains. Less red meat and processed food.
The second is Japanese because of fish, fermented food and green tea.
Our family's meals are generally fresh meat and veggies with fruit as snacks. Yes we have some processed stuff in the fridge (condiments and sauces) and pantry (crackers, biscuits etc).
Our kids' friends are generally surprised how fresh we eat, when they come over for dinners.
My daughter did a food survey with her friends. What you eat and what you don't. Some of them had never tried certain foods including some vegetables. She ticked off everything except spring onion and coriander. Made me proud.
Has to be spuds with the skin still on (vitamin C lives just under the skin and usually gets peeled off), whole raw milk (vitamins A & some Bs and some protein and a lot of fat) OR butter, and a supplemental protein source - such as oily fish (vitamin D) or meat or cheese. If you peel the spuds, you'll need a supplement such as fruit. The classic Irish diet that the potato famine of 1840s pretty much wiped out and triggered mass migration to USA and here.

When the veg. box listed 'piece of pumpkin' I expected a cut piece, maybe half. Apparently it actually meant two whole butternuts. I think my pumpkin needs are well and truly covered.
The wind is dreadful out there and the smoke haze is starting to build up as well, giving a horrible ominous feeling to the day. Going to work tonight is the absolute last thing I want to do 😭
I braved the conditions to go to the post office and that wind is probably the scariest thing. Anything catches fire and it's just going to go with the breeze

I started watching series 2 of A Man on the inside. It stars Ted Danson as a retired engineer lecturer turned P.I. assistant. So if you're looking for a easy on the brain, funny and wholesome show give it a go. So good. It's on Netflix.
I've given the garden a deep water and it has lots of mulch, so it's got the best chance I can give it. The wind out there now is brutal though, combined with the heat it just sucks the moisture out of everything - and there is some damage to some of the plant supports that will need to be repaired too.

Unfortunately the cat didn't make it. The damage was too severe. The vet at the hospital said it was more humane to let go.

I started watching series 2 of A Man on the inside. It stars Ted Danson as a retired engineer lecturer turned P.I. assistant. So if you're looking for a easy on the brain, funny and wholesome show give it a go. So good. It's on Netflix.

I've given the garden a deep water and it has lots of mulch, so it's got the best chance I can give it. The wind out there now is brutal though, combined with the heat it just sucks the moisture out of everything - and there is some damage to some of the plant supports that will need to be repaired too.
