Except the Trials where that precedent was supposedly established actually allowed a great many people to escape conviction using that exact defense, then the prosecution subsequently gave up on the trials altogether. Noem is, and she's young enough to have a career after all this if our timeline gets worse. Even if she gets impeached.

Trump hates LEOs and the military until he needs them, and so they're the disposable ones to him.

I agree with you, this is her intent. But Trump and Steven will throw her under the bus to give the people a culprit and then keep doing everything they've been doing. This is why they sent Bovino home and replaced him with Homan.

Minnesota is complaining that they can't prosecute the killers without the evidence that DHS stole, but it seems to me that all the evidence they require is the many videos of each incident. Just play those for the jury, and they'll convict.
