Lol in that case I must be getting numb to idiots. Despite acknowledging the spelling mistakes, I read it in one pass; “Mow” became “Mao” without my blood pressure changing.
I consider it plausible that someone actually posted it and meant it, some people I work with have reached the same mental stage (slightly above toddler). Bear in mind; these people are allowed to vote and drive cars.
That's right. You like that? Ok forget socialism. Just join us on this one thing. Wait until you learn that if you bargain collectively you can double your pay. You like that one too, right? Wait until you hear about having healthcare that costs one tenth of what you're currently paying. You like that one too, right? Wait until you get a load of your kids going to school for free. You like that one too, right? Wait until you hear about actual political representation in government and having your voice heard and have power over the corporations that got you by the balls. You like that one too, right? Wait until you hear about socialism. You like that one too, right?
Thats the thing, if you're feeling lost and powerless, having someone "strong" tell you that it's because of some other group and telling you what to do and what to think probably feels really encouraging and positive. The fact you're even more powerless in that situation probably doesn't even register.
If we're calling this class consciousness... There's organic, and there's this, which is like dandelions that grow out of cracks in the pavement near a burn pit.

I had to read it three times to realize "mow" was "Mao" (Zedong).
Also I think reading it that many times has caused me to have a stroke.

Carl Mark is like the dollar store version. Everyone remembers when Carl Mark and Fred Angles wrote the Kommunist Metafisto.
"Mom can we have Communism?"
"We have Communism at home."

Break through the propaganda by focussing on the accessible core demands, not the labels / theories. Anything is better than the current path.

Agreed. They're allergic to the labels. Let's focus on the fundamentals and let them discover it for themselves.

Authoritarian parents, authoritarian schools, and an authoritarian religion.
It takes effort to break free from that kind of upbringing.
