How can I kill a buterfly?

I go outside in my backyard to drink beer, whiskey, and chill out on my computer, but butterflies and insects are out. Butterflies fly near me and land on my computer, and it annoys me—I hate it. Is there a way I can kill these butterflies?

You shouldn't kill something just because it annoys you.

Use some incense like this one to keep insects at bay.

I appreciate the regular content – but if this post history is not a character and is indeed representative of your internal thoughts – dear god.

Put a bunch of spiders on the computer.

So THAT'S why it's called the web!

And then a few frogs to clean up the spiders

Build a proper deck with a bug net so you can be outside but not bothered by bugs.

Or build a sunroom, sounds like they may not be ready for the outdoors.

I'm imagining a mosquito net set up like a tent.

Do all your computing in an airless room. Butterflies cannot survive low oxygen environments.

IDK where you live, but here we could never be annoyed by butterflies, we actually plant bushes in our garden that attract them.
If you computer is black butterflies shouldn't be particularly attracted, if it's not get one that is.

Some ideas:

  • Chill out inside
  • Get some frogs (or other butterfly-eaters of your choice) and carry them around at all times
  • Move to a concrete jungle where all annoying natural life has been exterminated

What if it's a rich butterfly though?

They have chosen you. You're clearly the protagonist.

OK I'm being snarky after just having complained about being snarky elsewhere. Perhaps citronella candles?

Perspective bias, in reality the butterfly in the protagonist, Pixel is the villain.
