Why just one crow when you can have two crows?

There is an old wives tale about crows where I am from that starts... "one for sorrow, two for joy,". Seems accurate.

I know that as magpies.

We don't have Magpie's here. Perhaps why the crows.

Not everyone can rock the Odin-lifestyle

If a crow is the act of crowing then this could be read in the temporal sense such that having any number of crows on your shoulders would result in a crow on your shoulder.

While crows are cool and all, birds don't control when or where they poop, so carrying a bird on your shoulder all day is just not a great idea.

White and black go with any colour.

But crows and ravens are also spies for Odin. Do you really want Odin spying on you?

Better than the current status quo of just megacorps and the government doing so

GreenKnight23@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 93d
