When he ran for president and got into the news for regular political reasons again, I was worried the public consciousnesses would forget about the primary definition of santorum; it brings me such joy that we're keeping it alive.
The "primary" meaning comes from that pos/because of that particular pos (wiki/santorum). The public (the internets, comedians) did keep it alive long enough for it to become a recognised meaning, to commemorate him appropriately.
The og meaning of the surname is just 'sainty' (Latin).
Hand size looks different between the two photos and the perspective of the items on the top shelf of the second photo seems wildly wrong. I’m actually leaning towards stable diffusion now.
It actually looks like a jar of layerd colored sand with a fake label, like its a real thing (not a real product, but a real physical art project thing).
That jar reminds me of the end result of the sand ceremony that some people do at weddings. Several years ago I photographed a wedding for a middle aged couple who each already had kids, so with their Brady Bunch situation I think they had even more colors than this.
So uh, are any of you lovely gay Lemmings planning on getting hitched with your partner any time soon? I know the perfect container for a sand ceremony that you would display in your home for decades to celebrate your love AND your sense of humor.
edit: didn't think this would be controversial to say. Helleman's mayonaise is a unilever brand. Unilever has ties to israel and even sells olive oil made from stolen olives. this is worse than just rainbow capitalism

When you inevitably mix those layers together you get a santorum-like brown colour.

Could be photoshop, either way, not real

It’s a prank/art project. Someone made this themself, then took it to a grocery store for the photo shoot.
damnthefilibuster@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 85d
So is it just colored sand?
Starik@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 85d
Or colored mayonnaise, but colored by the photographer, not by Hellmann’s.
isVeryLoud@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 85d
Come on, could have at least put a second one on the shelf for realism. /j

It probably took forever to make the one.

Shit, it very well might be. The shelves in the background look weirdly different (why would the two pictures not be taken at the same spot)
BlueKey@fedia.io · 11 pts · 86d
The items in the shelves are consisten on both perspectives.

Doesn’t look like AI to me, but it’s not that hard to print a label and fill a jar with sand so.
okwhateverdude@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 86d
Label isn't aligned properly into the "groove" on the jar
RamenJunkie@midwest.social · 10 pts · 86d
I don't think its AI. Photoshop more likely.

If they did this for real I shudder to imagine what they’d use for the colors.
InvalidName2@lemmy.zip · 10 pts · 86d
They'd probably use red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple for the colors.
