If you can selfhost, you might also consider an SFTP or WebDav server, as Keepass2Android supports these (and more) ways to sync the databasefile. For Linux (and Windows I think) there are applications like Free File Sync.
Podman for the rescue. Runs fully under current user pribileges, so no sudo or other root-privileges needed to run containers.
(Especially useful for devs who want containers but should not get sudo.)

Es sollte immer nen Captcher geben, auch wenn die 3 Runden verlangen, alles besser als den Dienst nicht nutzbar zu machen.

Are you perhaps on Wifi? I noticed that Fedora is has configured Systemd to wait for online network before continuing starting the login services.
