One of the most offensive ideas to come along was the idea that having "businessmen" run the country was a good idea. A corollary is that Republicans are good for the economy.
(Right up there with the conservative mantra that there is no such thing as good government, because all of these assholes get into office and of course, make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Why are these people that bash the government so much so eager to be IN government, hmmmm?)
