Not a lot of people know just how many good people we lost until web browsers had the killing machine components securely encapsulated and managed by a Javascript engine.
Back then a single, really rad aircraft could sway the course of a Cold War or moderately sized redional conflict. Even a pretty good car could solve extra crimes that were too much for the venerable Crown Victoria. These days it’s, what, steal a million drones? Ok first off nobody can ride a drone and look cool and second it would be all beep boop im a nerd with the hacking codes not a cool-ass karate spy boop beep
hollywood is missing out on yet another legacy sequel. how old is clint? he can pull it off, that fucking midget Tom Cruise did it, our boy Clint will make it look easy.

Those ads for open source web browsers were a lot cooler back in the day.

Firefox should really bring back the "most devastating killing machine ever built" slogan.

Eastwood played a lot fo spies in his time. Which is funny because there are very few people on earth who are less memorable.
'Eiger Sanction' if you've never seen it.

For actual spies, being less memorable is an extremely useful asset.
Being able to blend in and not be noticed or remembered is of paramount importance to anyone trying to be sneaky.

Sad, but true. Maybe that's why Clint looks melancholy, he knows that the era of the Crown Vic and improbable planes is almost complete.

Okay book, pretty good movie.
The funny thing is that in both, they explicitly name Yuri Andropov as the head of the KGB and paint him as the most dangerous evil doer imaginable.
Then he dropped dead a week after coming to power as the leader of the USSR.

I remember my dad taking us to go see this movie, and he never wanted to watch any movies. I always wanted a jet plane with extra wings on it.

It's so weird to see Clint Eastwood in a spy thriller. Not that he's out of place, quite the opposite, but still

I didn't know Clint Eastwood used to be a web browser. 🤔

Clint is many-faceted primordial entity who moonlights as actor-director. He also practices manualism
