First and final day of posting Subarus slathered in quirky bumper stickers.

It’s always Subarus, isn’t it?

Are those multiple kill dozer references? Hardcore.

SarahValentine@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 23 pts · 53d

The "my other car" in particular cracked me right up!

Captainautism@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 36 pts · 53d

I have many questions for this lesbian.

wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 25 pts · 53d

My kind of people. Lesbians, apparently?

FiniteBanjo@feddit.online · 19 pts · 53d (11 replies)

Sick of people idolizing that Killdozer fucker.

bladerunnerspider@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 53d (10 replies)

Why

FiniteBanjo@feddit.online · 21 pts · 53d (7 replies)

Among his targets were a preschool. He wasn't a revolutionary he just wanted to inflict pain on people.

Doomsider@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 52d (6 replies)

Not trying to defend the madman, but he killed no one and had a targeted list of people who he felt had wronged him. Your not wrong about the pain part but it wasn't indiscriminate.

FiniteBanjo@feddit.online · 0 pts · 52d (5 replies)

I don't think that was from lack of trying.

Doomsider@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 52d (4 replies)

That is not really how it went down. He had a list of property to destroy.

FiniteBanjo@feddit.online · 0 pts · 52d (3 replies)

And then he drove his homemade kildozer through town including a preschool. What part don't you seem to acknowledge?

Doomsider@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 52d

The part that he wasn't trying to kill preschoolers that you keep implying. Not sure why you have to try to make him out to be a senseless killer when he didn't actually kill anyone.

I think his worst offense was definitely shooting at law enforcement. I am glad he missed.

too_high_for_this@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 52d

Because he was a deranged asshole, not some kind of folk hero. He blamed all his problems on other people instead of accepting responsibility. Every grievance he had was a result of his own pride, stupidity, and stubbornness.

CADmonkey@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 52d

Because comments must be posted decrying the killdozer so that other mechanically inclined people don't accidentally learn that there are actions one can take outside of holding signs in a group.

gigastasio@sh.itjust.works · 9 pts · 53d

Or science.

Or history.

Or civics.

Or decency.

SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 52d (1 reply)

MAGA driving a Toyota. Who's gonna tell him?

boonhet@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 52d

Hey it's more American-made than some vehicles from American manufacturers lol

rmuk@feddit.uk · 10 pts · 53d (2 replies)

Ah, I thought that was a Teen Girl Squad sticker at first.

flandish@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 52d (1 reply)

So Subaru's are also the choice car of lesbians across the pond as well?

FartsWithAnAccent@fedia.io · 7 pts · 53d

Not always, just not infrequently.

polariscap@lemmy.cafe · 6 pts · 53d (1 reply)

Omg I have never seen a Silver Jews lyric bumper sticker 😍 Also have a Subaru Outback this exact color but only distinguishing flair are huge gaping cracks and dents

Frozengyro@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 53d

I haven't either but it totally fits with the rest of it.

Suck_on_my_Presence@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 53d

Hey hey, I drive a civic and have a bunch of quirky bumper stickers. And one of my best buds has an accord with incredible stickers.

jbrjake@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 52d

I just saw one earlier this afternoon:

As a musician I had to pull up Alice Coltrane’s Universal Consciousness and in my opinion (which does not matter) it’s pure cacophony. Every member of the band is in a disharmonic key and the result is painful to listen to. What really hurts is that if you isolate each instrument mentally, they have some talent; but together it literally hurts to listen to… some forms of Jazz I just don’t get. But to each their own 👍

gigastasio@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 52d

Yeah I listened to it too. Honestly, if a car behind me was honking, I’d probably think it was part of the piece.

blimthepixie@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 52d

I've got a Fiat Chinqichento with a 'HONK IF YOU LIKE BLOW JOBS' sticker on it.

I've got no idea how it got there though

BeMoreCareful@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 52d

I live in a real landlocked place and those Salt Life stickers really threw me for a loop.

The ones that were popular around here were highly stylized. The "a" was just impossible to make out and I was pretty sure it couldn't be a "u" and heart disease really does kill a lot of people.

It just remained one of life's little mysteries for a while.
