An apartment complex that I would convert into some kind of nonprofit cohousing community with low rent, community spaces, and tons of solar panels. After that, maybe a gaming pc or a newer plugin hybrid car.

Pay off debt and then stash it away and live the complete same. Maybe with a nicer computer and a real nice winter jacket.

I repay my parents loaning me some money, then trees (apple and native for wildlife), do up my attic, get a man and machine to dig a pond for wildlife, some evergreen trees and plants for a Japanese garden, maybe laser eye surgery and a face treatment for reducing sun damage..... And a dog and cat, perhaps some goats (rehomed)

Fun projects that won't cost a lot

I love how casually you incorporated the "get a man" in there

quinacridone@mander.xyz · 7 pts · 3d (2 replies)

I meant a man with a machine!!!

ZDL@lazysoci.al · 4 pts · 2d (1 reply)

Oh, darling! You can use those machines without a man's help!

I may be thinking of the wrong machines.

Lol, I have had a go in a mini digger, but would rather get someone to do it for me, it'd be quicker and less stressing

Depends on the amount. If we're talking $20 on a scratch off, idk something stupid. If we're talking life changing money, I don't have much debt but my brother does (thanks to his ex wife) he'd be shocked to find all his credit cards paid off.

If we're talking INSANE amounts, full on political corruption! Uncorruption? Idk, undoing whatever the state of the US is as fast as I can because I'm sure the other billionaires will have me killed in the process.

A modest house, and then establish as much as I can to set up anarchist communist mutual aid (& defence) networks that will be just profitable enough to keep on growing and eventually achieve relative self-sufficency, so that we can expand it for all.

And while we're at it, help in producing and supporting people with medical needs, for eg abortion and gender-affirming care (HRT and surgery).

I don't want a better life, I want the realisation of a time where we are freed from capitalism and gender discrimination!

Some land, like 20 acres with forest. Build a regular house and a fire watch like tower. Then invite friends to live on the land as well. Pay off some friends bills. Quit my job if the payout is big enough.

A lawyer to hide the fact that i won the lottery. After that? Probably car maintenance. Its not beat up but theres a few little things.

Pay off my husband and I's college debt. Get some medical treatment for a health issue. Work on creative projects.

Relocating!

OliveBrittle@piefed.ca · 2 pts · 2d

After repaying a friend for assistance he's given, I'd likely buy a condo in an older downtown highrise, a good quality gaming PC, and a Vtuber model so I can start up a regular Owncast stream.
