Wonder how long that dude was looking at her screen before he saw his face on it.

Looks like a guy in the profile pic

DakRalter@thelemmy.club · 2 pts · 18d

Wait, that's not Keanu Reeves?

(To himself) "Ooh, she's scrolling though Tinder, maybe she'll see me! No, no, no, wow, she's a swiper, no, no, oh, there I am! NO?! She barely looked at me..."

(Out loud) "HEY! what about THAT guy? He seemed nice!"

Zephorah@discuss.online · 28 pts · 19d

I want to know if she swiped no on continued conversation with the man. Face to face encounters are not the same as screen encounters, after all.

Doesn't Tinder just show people in your area? So are they flying back from somewhere, or from their area? Is give hours enough time to really meet someone you just met on the internet?

Listen if your flight is delayed 5 hours you're gonna take anything you can get

Obviously not in this case

lightnsfw@reddthat.com · 2 pts · 19d

I take anything I can get regardless of where I am.

Not sure. They could both have changed their location to their vacation destination. They could be boarding a plane to the same place/home city. Also, the whole scenario could be fake.

I know my brother used to change his location to places he was going to and would have “dates” set up for his time there.

I've found that using an app is old and busted. Instead I sit in the airport and swipe in the air as people pass by.
