Am I the only one that isn’t quite understanding how parts of the brain of John Wayne Gacy were obtained? The article just acts like it’s so easy to obtain all this shit.

I'm going to assume it's not actually Gacy's, and hope that it's not human.

ebay!
but yeah, that's.... an odd way to state they had brain parts, if it's not literally Gacy's.....

I'll sell the author a shoebox labeled "hope diamond" for $25k....

Seriously, nobody told me I could make bank on misrepresented pig brains.

Here's another thing you probably don't know. You can go take a bath, and then at the end of the bath don't drain the water. Instead, put the water into about 5000 small glass jars. Now set up an AI thing where you can create a consistent supply of pictures of the same AI model. Dress her like a stereotypical incel's idea of what a gamer girl looks like. Now sell the 5000 jars for $100 each as "Gamer Girl bath water". Except find a new name, because (and I'm not making this up), that name for that product is already trademarked and made 1 woman named Belle Delphine into a millionaire doing basically nothing.

Quite possible. Licensed individuals would be counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. AFAIK, there is no license or standard that legally defines the term; anyone can call themselves a "therapist".

The story is somehow even weirder than the headline.

Whew, close one. For a few scary moments I thought this might be some kind of sick white people skulls collector.

I think the idea they're trying to get across is that he didn't kill these people. They were dead for close to 2 centuries before he started treating their remains like a funko-pop collection.
Still gross that he's collecting them at all, but I think the idea is to offer relief for those close to him that he wasn't actively killing.

They need deep therapy, locking them in a box will make them 100 times worse.

A statement that never comes up positive. Prison makes people worse.
Dude has major issues but putting people in our current system, it's failing! We need to invest in alternative ways. See if we can understand and make.them productive.
I just assume this was a joke.

How? We haven't had enough cases where it's even been tried.

No, the thing Bluefalcon mentioned: cases where people have been provided rehabilitative therapy instead of just being slammed in the punishment cage for a period of time.
