The Epstein files?

BlameTheAntifa@lemmy.world · 51 pts · 23h (2 replies)

They already show that he trafficked, raped, and murdered women and children. Most Americans do not seem to care.

Most Americans do not seem to care.

They think the wealthy should be entitled to anything.

cmbabul@slrpnk.net · 4 pts · 15h

Very close, they believe that’s just the way of the world and nothing can be done to fix it

panda_abyss@lemmy.ca · 41 pts · 23h (1 reply)

He’s 90% Achilles heel.

His only strength is convincing morons that he’s somehow smart.

TheBloodFarts@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 12h

Unfortunately it's quite the fucking strength apparently

JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world · 36 pts · 23h

Rapists and bullies dont know what to do when their targets fight back.

theacharnian@lemmy.ca · 24 pts · 23h (4 replies)

It's the same reason why any US military adventurism in Canada is extremely stupid. We know you fucks too well, much better than you know us. We know exactly how to hurt you and you're too arrogant to even think we can.

northertech@fedia.io · 6 pts · 13h (1 reply)

You don't invade a country where they all are better educated than you, have better wealth equality than you, look and talk exactly like you, and have an endless supply of ANFO. It would be the troubles 10x and we can send fully equipped sabotage raids basically anywhere in your homeland. The border is too large to defend.

idiomaddict@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 7h

Not unless you’re Russia, at least.

Steve@startrek.website · 4 pts · 20h (1 reply)

I case we don’t meet again, I’m sorry.

Knoxvomica@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 19h

Doesn't matter if you're sorry, you'll be sorry.

Malica@lemmy.zip · 21 pts · 20h (2 replies)

Was it ever lost? The only way to deal with a bully is to stand up to him, everyone knows that

kent_eh@lemmy.ca · 11 pts · 17h (1 reply)

It seems a lot of countries thought capitulation would make Trump treat them nice.

I hope they can learn from Canada and Iran's examples.

cmbabul@slrpnk.net · 6 pts · 15h

We use to have a different term for that before WWII. I believe we called it appeasement

Jhex@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 23h (1 reply)

I mean, have you see his amorphous cankles? you'd have to be blind to miss those heels

Canconda@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 22h

Cankilles heel.

spittingimage@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 14h

He does not look well in that photo. It'd be a shame if he shat himself to death before the midterms...

DeadEndLink@lemmy.ca · 7 pts · 18h

Achilles bone spur

mHtt@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 11h

Bro imagine if the American people gave a shit about anyone but themselves?

friend_of_satan@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 16h

Thanks Bro Canada, seriously. Will come and visit soon.

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 4 pts · 21h

Is it ignoring him and not capitulating?

Achilles heel spurs

Trump has spent much of his second term flouting the longtime convention of U.S. administrations avoiding direct involvement in other countries’ elections.

This must be written by AI.

kent_eh@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 17h

When has the US not interfered in other countries elections?

That's been a significant part of the CIA's operations since the agency was created.

dermanus@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 20h (4 replies)

Why?

I see this comment on basically every news article these days. The sentence you quoted is bog standard journalistic style.

tangeli@piefed.social · 2 pts · 20h (3 replies)

the longtime convention of U.S. administrations avoiding direct involvement in other countries’ elections.

When has the US ever not interfered in the elections of other countries? Nothing but AI could be that delusional. Trump is flouting some conventions but in this regard, there is nothing to flout.

dermanus@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 19h (1 reply)

I think you underestimate how delusional humans are. Also, the point here is direct involvement, usually they're more subtle.

tangeli@piefed.social · 4 pts · 17h

subtle: like kidnapping and murdering leaders of other countries?

asg101@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 10h

Dunno why you are getting down votes. The US has been interfering in other countries elections since AT LEAST World War 2.

NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 12h

This stuff is so ingrained now they don’t even need commissars in the media organisations.
