There's a Laotian restaurant right around the corner from me that serves really delicious food. The owner is an elderly lady who's so amazingly unfriendly that it's actually funny.
In the men's restroom, there's a sign hanging above the urinals that reads: "Flush, or else ✂️"
That really sounds like the same owner. I’m always grateful for whatever food she grants me, especially since it’s always excellent, and I wouldn’t dream of not flushing the toilet—that would undoubtedly lead to the consequences stated on the sign; that’s as certain as death and taxes.
This exact thing happened to me in thailand in 2013. I got a really bad stomach bug and was having a hard time walking before I finally got to a pharmacy.
The pharmacist didn't speak English but he gave me a bag of pills and a note:

Technically possible, but weird that the exact same image would show up otherwise completely unattributed with two different parts of the story like that, don’t you think?

We have a Vietnamese restaurant with the same owner I guess. "You want German beer? No! Vietnamese! Coco rice for desert? No! You get pandan cake!"
The items might be out of stock, but she's so brutal in her decisions I wouldn't dare to ask.
The pandan cake is delicious though.
