Is that why bluesky closed my account? How ignorant of me that I couldn't realize someone personally blocked me but not the bluesky.
I was talking to some other people about books in general. Someone shared lost of accounts which you can follow I checked the accounts and saw that most are from sci-fi writers and publishers. So, I clicked follow all kind of a thing which let you follow everyone on the shared list. And afterwards my account was banned by bluesky.
I told them what happened but they didn't respond and I didn't try again.
Yes. I lost my uncle that way. His genius children decided forcing him without any precautions would be a good idea.
He was a long time alcoholic. Had many problems but the doctor said withdrawal was the last straw that killed him.
I've been banned on bluesky because I choose to follow a curated group people's accounts (I don't remember what it was called that someone shares a bunch of people where you can choose to follow all with one click) about books which had over 100 people in it.
Never went back...
Notice how these charts always manage to fit in tiny European populations but completely erase non-Western OECD members? Centering white, Western nations as the default standard for global progress while ignoring the rest of the world is structural racism disguised as economic research.
Here is a list of the OECD countries that they left out with paid vacation laws:
Chile,
Colombia,
Costa Rica,
Estonia,
Latvia,
Lithuania,
Luxembourg,
Slovenia,
Türkiye.
Yes, we all came from Africa and yet we all managed mingle, change and to develop distinct different cultures along the way. This doesn't make Greek, German, French or any other cultures rooted in Africa. They all originated somewhere along the way.
Roots means the origin of a culture where it comes from and where it was first established. Considering the Greek culture was already established by the time of the war of Troy, it came from modern day Greece geographically to Anatolia. The ancient Greeks were seeing Troy as a foreign kingdom other that Greek, Heredotus and others write so.
As for the Huns, yes they disappeared and turned into different cultures like the Magyars and Bulgars. They are established as these culture where they are now, distinct from the Huns. They have historical ties to the Huns.
As for your culture of course you are entitled to your opinion, however writing in Greek doesn't mean your culture and the ancient Greek is the same culture. Anyways, I wish you a pleasant day and I hope I made my point clear.
Again it seems you're mistaking roots of a culture with historical ties/relations and bundling up ancient Greek culture with Greek culture is another obvious mistake you make. Considering the ancient Greeks and Greeks after Christianity are two very different cultures. Meanwhile calling Ottomans having deep roots in Europe shows how much your mix and match the cultures. By your definition Atilla the Hun must be rooted in Europe as well considering he achieved his fame in Europe's history and Genghis Khan must be rooted in China or Anatolia or Arabic Peninsula. If you can't see the difference between roots and historical ties/relations there is nothing to talk about.
Claiming ancient Greek culture has deep roots from Anatolia is a Western narrative if you ask me. Considering the Greek culture only managed to get in and establish footholds at mostly the shorelines with the Sea People's invasions from the west and never managed to establish full control over Anatolia or hold their holdings for a relatively long time. By your definition you can call the Ottoman Empire having deep roots in Europe. Considering they conquered Kosovo before Istanbul. Roots and historical ties are very different things.
This reminded of the time my family used me as the mover in my teens. We moved to an old apartment and I had to move almost all the furniture 5 stories without an elevator. If I try that today I'll most likely give my last breath on the first stairs.
Yeah, like the old TVs with the tube screens. For my taste digital age regarding the photography and TV isn't a step forward as people hype it to be. Analog was better quality if you know what you're doing.

That escalated to heights I wasn't expecting.
I don't ever remember feeling ewww towards the moths or others like it. In my mind they are not that different than butterflies. Am I weird?
At this point it doesn't matter... They've got me at flock camera.
Yeah but you're not a monkey are you? If I wanted to drink with humans I would have done it friends or strangers at a bar.
