It’s inherently uncreative and it’s even more likely to produce same-y material when you 1. Don’t give it a specific art direction and 2. Use the same generic models everybody else is using (a result of Googling, “AI art generator”.)
Which, in fairness, there are plenty of. I have seen 2 presentations this week at work where they were 1. Obviously AI-generated and 2. Obviously not proofread or changed at all.
I built two of these, one in 2021 for a client and another in 2023 IIRC, back when SSDs and RAM weren’t outrageously priced, so it’s got an NVMe m.2 SSD and 64 GB of RAM.
It’s got an AIO cooler, and I don’t think anything other than that or a stock fan would fit in there. It had a 3060 12 GB but it has died :/ so it’s currently got a 2060 SUPER, which doesn’t fit as well (mainly because the power port points towards the front of the case instead of up.)
With the discrete GPU and AIO cooler, I wouldn’t have been able to fit a SATA SSD in there.
Both of these were far from the most painful builds I’ve done.
It has no multiplayer beyond co-op and it has horrible performance issues on PC - Windows or Linux. I refunded it on Steam.
Even the console versions have bad bugs - random disconnects, you can’t go both ways around the island on The Silent Cartographer, and you can’t rebind buttons that are already bound without the game resetting after closing the game - ask me how I know all this.
No worries, I appreciate it. The whole situation around AI is just unfortunate, including the arguments about things being AI-generated (or how to tell they are without throwing it back at AI.)
I will admit I didn’t think that maybe the site itself was using AI, and even sources I’ve found saying so aren’t entirely reliable (although I wouldn’t be surprised), so dare I say this wasn’t me denying “common sense.”
Not sure what he did wrong
Ah, yes, the only thing that makes dog barking more annoying is when the human is barking too.
“Bad Reggie! No! No!”
No hard feelings, but I am obligated to post it when relevant :P
Undertale.

Just like you, I’m crammed it in :P

I have that exact same case for my work computer!
Sorry, I know that this isn’t a helpful post, but I love how that screenshot looks like it’s straight out of 2010.
It doesn’t. And the PC port is the least stable of the three.
Closest thing is HighSpell but IIRC the developer has gone MIA.

LASO Master in Halo MCC and Faster in SUPERHOT VR. That and a handful of other ones are listed at 0.5%.

Other parts of the internet would agree with you
Strange because all of my MIT repos are listed - all the GPL ones are excluded.
No worries, I enjoyed the write-up!
Small correction: you mentioned playing F-Zero X on the N64, but then refer to is as F-Zero GX, which was a separate game for the GameCube.
