that said, i refuse to download Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, and a few others, and i resent them for defacing their own site to try and force conversions. but if there is an app/company i really utilize, i prefer the app every time, from a UX perspective.

my theory is that AI will take over the world silently and subtly. my first inkling of this was when the tariff policies appeared to be generated. regardless of if they actually were, things like that will continue to happen until consulting a model on policy becomes routine, and then checking outputs gets more lax… that’s how they take over. we give them control over the reigns of government one step at a time, all the time convinced we’re still the ones making the decisions.
