Aww man, that sounds like what our future is going to hold unfortunately. It really hit me this past December we moved into a 2 story house. Almost her whole life Delia slept with my youngest daughter (now almost 14 herself, as soon as she moved to her own toddler bed Delia claimed it as hers to share), but in the new house the bedrooms are all up a big, steep, wood flight of stairs. The first night she tried to make it up and her hips couldn't handle it, so some tears were shed and we got her a nice kennel to sleep in downstairs. Now she doesn't seem to mind (and my daughter eventually got over it) but that made concrete how old she's getting.

My condolences.

How did you know when it was time? My dog (Delia) is soon to be 14, vizsla/pit mix so relatively big dog. Had skin cancer a few years back, almost died from an internal infection that led to abscesses on her aortic wall some years before that (as best as the vet figured a possum fight led to her skin healing over and the infection going internal). She now has lots of skin tags and fatty cyst type growths, and has to wear diapers inside as whenever she stands up (with some difficulty due to hip dysplasia/back leg arthritis) she pees a bit. But she still loves (short) walks, eats and drinks well, doesn't seem to be in any pain.

All the dogs I've had to this age ended up with some dramatic health issues and a quick end. Not sure if that shoe will drop with Delia or if one day she just won't wake up in the morning... but my biggest fear is her being in pain and suffering and us not realizing it.

Linda Mar taco bell is a whole different level. Where else can you surf a usually barely decent often closing out wave with various degrees of nasty runoff from the parking lot, 10,000 kooks, and great whites, and then take a break on a cold norcal beach drinking a boozy Baja blast freeze?

(As I type all that out I realize it doesnt sound great but honestly Linda Mar can sometimes be totally heaven on earth)

And another thing - the crotch, down where your nuts hang - is always a little too tight, so when you make them up, give me an inch that I can let out there, uh because they cut me, it's just like riding a wire fence. These are almost, these are the best I've had anywhere in the United States [...] But, uh when I gain a little weight they cut me under there. So, leave me , you never do have much of margin there. See if you can't leave me an inch from where the zipper (burps) ends, round, under my, back to my bunghole, so I can let it out there if I need to.

Phish recordings? Not sure if this is a pun on Dicks in Colorado or confusion around Dick Latvala. The latter are the only Dick's Picks I need.

None of these are traditional Indian dishes, tofu was only introduced to India a few centuries ago. But vegetarianism (more commonly ovo-lacto) as well as veganism (e.g., a lot of Jain food) has been very common for thousands of years.

As the other poster said, if you don't do paneer there's a ton of protein to be found in dal (lentil) and chana (chickpea) dishes. And if you don't do cream or ghee most any dish can be made with coconut milk and boiled ground cashews.

Not quite sure if you are joking but if people don't know, the english word orange (for the color) actually comes from the fruit! Before that the color was called saffron (or crog) or often "yellow red" or "yellow crog/saffron".

Same here, I tried a number of arch derivatives and arch as well when I got a new desktop last year (after many years of mac work computers, iMac desktop for my kids, mostly Alpine images in the cloud/on k8s, and many many years of mostly Debian and fedora derivatives before I had kids and had time to putter around with *nix). Endeavor suited my needs (some local LLM stuff, personal browsing, a few OSS projects, and Steam) and yay has generally worked great to bridge the gap between pacman and aur.
