I used to like F. But working years in construction has forced me into G with a pillow in between or else my hands go numb and wake me up 4 times a night. And now I have back issues from sleeping in G. Getting old sucks major ass, boys.
Do A with a pillow between the knees and another pillow to "hug". Let the shoulder roll forward and keep the arm straight in front of you, it's the best one I've found yet.
It's just a habit that can be changed though :) I also used to sleep on my stomach, since I was a kid. But started waking up with such horrendous neck pain.
The way i sleep is so specific now. Feels like I have perfected it. I love doing a version of A, where I have a pillow between my knees, and another to hug. I make sure that my pillow really supports the neck by kind of propping it up a bit and pushing it into the neck. I roll my shoulder forward so that I get more flat and as much of my torso as possible is touching the mattress, and keep that arm straight in front of me. If I can lie down on the floor in that position I know I'm in the "right", comfortable position. I usually prop my e-book up against another pillow and read until I fall asleep. Journaling, and the cognitive shuffle sleep method is also great to combat racing thoughts.
Their Gis are the same color and both bear Roshi's name on the back. It's not unreasonable as a guess, but we're dragon ball nerds and know the scene being referenced.
I had to do F when MRI scanning, and that felt like A TORTURE, laying still like a statue for 40 mins, after that long my mind started fucking with me thinking i was moving one direction, to counteract the non existent movement i went other direction, and then i would question my life choices when the guy controlling the MRI tells me I moved and has to redo the imaging. ๐ญ
I like a sideways version of H, but my girlfriend likes D, so I end up sideways in a coffin housed within a section of the tesseract blanket that's slightly outside of the material plane and it's lovely

I hope you dont mind me being oblivious but as a youngster i dont get why construction would make your arms go numb. I get the back pain tho
Cruxifux@feddit.nl · 2 pts · 1y
I guess itโs a side effect of tendonitis and is common for construction workers who work long hours to develop.

preussischblau@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 1y
Yeah, it hasn't bit me yet, but I know it will. Sometimes I feel like it's the only way I can fall asleep, though :c

Some days, to avoid disturbing my sleeping cats, I sleep sideways across the head of my bed curled around them. Those days I swim in a sea of pillows.
