In addition, Kennedy said that infant boys who are circumcised have double the rate of autism.

But Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), who voted to confirm Kennedy both in the Senate Finance Committee and on the Senate floor, expressed confusion.

“That’s new,” he told The Independent after chuckling.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

I don’t know why “journalists” don’t ask him about aliens and the secret space program. He has thoughts. More than a few of them.

He really said the woman had a baby in her placenta?!

If someone is that fucking incompetent, they need to be fired from their job

Aganim@lemmy.world · 40 pts · 312d (1 reply)

It's almost as if he is just a Trump lackey without the slightest idea of what he's talking about..

I do wonder how many hours you need to microwave yourself to get a crispy, dried out face like that by the way.

mister_flibble@sh.itjust.works · 15 pts · 312d

Bro looks so much like an old leather couch that Vance is gonna start sending him "u up??" texts at 1am.

rayyy@piefed.social · 9 pts · 312d

No, no, no. Incompetence is a prime qualification for this regime. Stupidity also required. Insanity is a bonus.

kreskin@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 312d

Make sure to also fire his brain worm. I bet that critter is on the payroll.

Bluewing@lemmy.world · -5 pts · 312d (1 reply)

This is a very, very rare instance where his crack addled brain is more correct than you.

A fetus develops and grows inside a placenta. Which is inside the uterus, which oddly enough, is inside a woman. No placenta, no baby. No baby, no placenta. So yes, to say your mother had you in inside her placenta is correct. It's just not how most people think about it.

So write it down on a calendar, the brain damaged idiot he is, was technically more correcter than you in this instance.

MonkeyTown@midwest.social · 5 pts · 312d

Not to be “that guy”, but technically it’s the fetus’ placenta. It’s formed by the egg, not the mother. So it’s still wrong to say the baby is in its mother’s placenta.

Republicans who voted for RFK Jr. baffled by jingling keys.

Is he demonstrating how to perform a circumcision?

vividspecter@aussie.zone · 10 pts · 312d (1 reply)

Seems like he's currently receiving one.

Bottom line, republicans will have to start inspecting all penises.

They already had to start looking at all kids naked to ensure they are healthy, but its expanding to adult males now too.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/rfk-jr-slammed-for-claiming-he-can-diagnose-kids-by-just-looking-at-them/ar-AA1Lrvlt

I hope all the republicans out there are proud of this outcome.

CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 311d

I thought that they were already there, since they lost their collective minds about where trans might relieve themselves when it came to public restrooms. Or their concern-trolling over "men in women's sports".

Catma@lemmy.world · 37 pts · 312d (3 replies)

They are not baffled by it, they are upset they have to answer questions about it.

With Trump since so much is in random press conferences and Truths they can pretend they didnt see it or read it. RFK presents a problem in that if he is speaking its not the norm. Hand to Goddess I doubt I could name a single other HHS secretary. Even during Covid I have 0 idea who ran HHS which feels like the only time I should have fucking known who it was.

cheers_queers@lemmy.zip · 7 pts · 312d (2 replies)

Wasnt it Fauci?

digredior@lemmynsfw.com · 4 pts · 312d

Nope… he was the director for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the 2nd Chief Medical Adviser to the President .

Ngl I never thought I'd hear a stupider autism cause story by the dumb fuck anti vaxxers but goddamn they really cooked on this even more brain dead circumcision take. Color me impressed they can still keep me on my toes like this after a year.

Broadfern@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 312d (5 replies)

Having a bowl of Cocoa Puffs cereal increases the rate of autism by 572857295919593959472%!!!!1!1!!!!!!

theherk@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 312d (4 replies)

That’s why I stick to Cocoa Pebbles.

regedit@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 312d (3 replies)

You got Cocoa Pebbles? I only ever got to eat regular, off-brand pebbles!

theherk@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 312d (2 replies)

FWIW, my actual favorites were the off brand Fruity Pebbles. Malt-o-meal Dynobites. Don’t even know if those still exist; been a few decades.

regedit@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 312d

On the DL, me too. But what's with the chocolate Dine-o-bites with marshmallows? The flavor is so...terse. They clash so bad!

digredior@lemmynsfw.com · 1 pts · 312d

They absolutely still exist.

CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 311d

Denialists of all stripes are always going to impress you with their capacity to believe total bullshit.

They could vote to remove him... If they had a spine.

Arancello@aussie.zone · 24 pts · 312d (1 reply)

Really? Baffled?

GladiusB@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 312d

It's the worms thinking. It's making baffles.

The only outcome of this is that at least circumcision will finally become less popular in America.

tla@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 312d

How is it many on the right do not understand the concept of correlation and causation and that both may exist independently or concurrently? I guess denying science in order to pedal conspiracy theories based on ignorance may have something to do with it.

I think about any sane person is baffled by the sheer stupidity coming from this guy.

whiwake@lemmy.cafe · 7 pts · 312d (1 reply)

I’m questioning the number of sane people these days.

Australis13@fedia.io · 2 pts · 312d

I was already questioning it a decade ago, but the last few years have really made me feel like I'm in the minority...

CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 311d

If they were to apply any logic to all of the shit they voted for, there should be no end of the bafflement.

RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 312d

This is what it takes to be baffled?

Sunflier@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 312d

Guys, RFI Jr.'s claim linking autism to circumcision makes total sense and is objectively reasonable . . . if you look at that claim through the lense of a brain worm.

ArenaCops@infosec.exchange · 4 pts · 312d

@vegeta RFK Jr. is the reason a new impeachable offense will be introduced: Brain worms!

An offense with the potential to sink whole "Trump admins"!

crystalmerchant@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 312d

Stupid gonna stupid

thatonecoder@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 311d

Do not be mistaken, my friends, this is likely the beginning of persecuting Jewish people; even f*cking Netanyahu is concerned about this, all of his war crimes notwithstanding.
