I'm just amazed she is in any way surprised by the reaction or that she would be dumb enough to try and go against the cult following she had been riding on to try and be the center of attention and stay in power. She's been largely a monster all this time.
Jena-Lisa Jones, an Epstein victim, criticized Trump for directing the Justice Department to investigate Epstein's connections with Democrats and others.
“I beg you, President Trump: Please stop making this political,” Jones said. “It is not about you, President Trump. You are our president. Please start acting like it. Show some class, show some real leadership, show that you actually care about the people other than yourself.”
She said that she voted for Trump, but called his behavior on the Epstein controversy "a national embarrassment."
The kindest thing you can say about her is that she values something more than the Trump cult. Whether she "comes by her crazy honest" or is just tired of subordinating her own ambition to his whims, that I couldn't say. In any event, she's quite awful and even joking that she's welcome in the Democratic party is stupid, but the break itself should be welcome. I think we're also going to be seeing a good bit of erosion around the edges and some pretty insane palace politics. I have no doubt that a lot of people fancy themselves Trump's defacto heir, and the jockeying for that and people not wantingg to wait until he croaks may be the only thing that keeps him from getting significant support in testing the term limits on US presidents.
If he were younger he might actually pull off that third term. But I’m thinking by then, if a cheeseburger doesn’t get him first, the dementia will have him so far off his rocker the cult won’t be able to hold together.
Fascists fundamentally cannot value human connection as they foster a worldview that is dependent on violent dehumanization to exist, so more of them have nothing to lose and are starved of any passion other than violence. There's a real chance she'll get Kirked.

I'm reminded that her initial election was partly becase she ran unopossed, as the D had his wife leave the area oyn fear of her life and he pulled out of the running for much same reasons
