I have kids, they don’t turn their games off. They leave them running on one screen with YouTube playing nonstop on another screen while they’re watching ticktock on their phone in a different room. This is not an exaggeration.
I once left my char in LOTRO auto running to go have sex. Came back to having gone offline from afk, but still alive and far from where I started, and a bunch of annoyed friends on Ventrilo. Would do again.

Online games dont pause, but sometimes love still wins.
Or a pause that comes during an intense fight in a single player requiring complete attention (e.g. Cuphead, Hollow Knight). That takes love ❤️
