"I don't CARE how may lights there are. Just turn them off!!"

My wife said I was a nerd for taking one look at that picture and immediately telling her what episode it was. And I'm not saying she's wrong, but I do wish there was a way to monetize that skill.

I'll take a stab, S4E07 "Bellwhistles"

The crew become entrenched in discussion with a sentient skin rash that takes over the crew, and Data has to synthesize a cure using ancient antibiotics who become enamored with the Captain, offering him immortality in exchange for flute lessons, which he refuses.

"Clues"?

maniacalmanicmania@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 238d

I think so. I don't remember Data putting the crew to to sleep in Brothers and I can't think what else it would be.

::: spoiler clue 1 This happened twice in that episode :::

::: spoiler clue 2 Data is awake, because he can reliably follow orders :::

Rooster326@programming.dev · 1 pts · 237d (1 reply)

!He was ordered to stay awake.!<

Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 237d

He was awake because the Paxans couldn't incapacitate them. He was ordered to never ever reveal what happened

Honestly, just knowing this is TNG is enough to make you a nerd. That's the level I'm at.

You are an ultranerd. Truly a higher state of nerd. I'm jealous.

It feels extra weird because on the Enterprise, every party is an office party.

DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 238d (2 replies)

It's funny how they're all so carefully posed.

Admetus@sopuli.xyz · 10 pts · 238d

Riker going for it casually as always (yeah, Frake had a back problem I know)

b34k@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 238d

Just gotta wonder… with a crew that big… how many of them were in an actually dangerous position when they all got knocked out?

The night before

In the next holodeck Geordi is banging the AI Leah Brahms

Real. Except my friends and I didn't get drunk. We just stayed up until 4 am dicking around in Minecraft

Now they have to adjust for being out cold for 3 days!

Sorry but the solution in that episode always bugged me.
