Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino on Sunday said his Customs and Border Patrol agents are “the victims” after they shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti in Minnesota. In an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Dana Bash pointed out that Bovino had repeatedly referred to Pretti as a “suspect” as he defended CBP’s training and de-escalation tactics.
“With respect, it feels as though in some ways you’re blaming the victim here,” Bash said.
Bovino replied, “The victim? The victims are the Border Patrol agents. I’m not blaming the Border Patrol agents. The suspect put himself in that situation.”

200 billion in the bank. Minus what they spent this year, but I think they are cutting them a new check as we speak. Extracting money from the government is the reason for being for most of congress, most of the executive too for that matter.
Only China and the US spend more than 200 billion on their militaries. These guys will bankrupt the country and de facto default by printing money before they are out of there I fear.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say we should stop calling them nazis. Miller, Bovino, they all wear that comparison as a badge of honor, and it's clear their supporters don't mind in the slightest.

They ought to be careful what they wish for. It is very dangerous to pre-normalize ICE being assaulted with firearms. What if violent extremists took that as a sign to escalate to bombs or something? Anyway, is ICE renting hotel rooms? What are they doing about transportation? I mean when they decend on a new city all the time, then they must get local vehicles. What about food services? Laundry? Toilet paper? If people risk their businesses by doing business with ICE, then the infrastructure behind the occupation collapses.

I'm not opposed to people getting their just comeuppance, but it's pretty plain to see the absolute thirst they have for victim-hood. If they really were victims they'd run out of synonyms to describe the extent of it. Not just because they're borderline illiterate, but also because they've spent 20 years feeling sorry for themselves when nobody has so much as checked them on any of their shitty behavior.
