And that is why rich countries genuinly want to help poor ones with containing disesas of any kind. Unless they are run by morons.

TrickDacy@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 209d

Evil* morons.

I'm 99% sure that antivaxers are people that started out just using it as an excuse to not get a shot then it snow balls into conspiracy theories

They just pick a word that sounds scary to stupid people, make millions of videos about it, and collect sponsorship checks. That's all that matters.

Right now the scary word they're making content about is 'pasteurization'.

It seems pretty clear the uber rich think a lot of us should just die instead of us doing things like prevent climate change and the spread of communicable diseases.

This isn't just weaponless incompetence. They are building bunkers.

Literally, they would rather rule over the burnt out ashes of our beautiful earth.

They still have to go to the bunkers, so when shtf, there's a small window where they're vulnerable and we can get them to join us

It probably is more like: "Government forces the people to take some evil vaccines due to those scientists, who lie to you. Also those evil scientists are telling the government to stop us emitting greenhouse gases, dump chemical waste and so forth. Also the shut downs during Covid were pushed for by those evil scientists."

So less wanting to actually spread the disesas and more following science hurts our bottom line.

It's a mixed bag. Some just position themselves as anti establishment to get anti vaxer votes. Some really believe it. But the amount that got vaccinated sneakily makes me think the first group is bigger.

truthfultemporarily@feddit.org · 2 pts · 209d

For him he may actually believe it. Apart from that its just trying to appeal to the antivax crowd.
