My coworker is literally doing it right now... Somehow he has a seemingly endless supply of random videos with the annoying chipmunk voice changer old people find hilarious for some reason.

best open office i was in, we took turns being in charge of overhead music. as long as you weren't in a meeting, you could be in charge for an hour. we'd draw lots.

About 58 bus rides ago my dad's dog came across a guy on the bus listening to dog whistle sounds without headphones, no one on the bus could hear but the dog. Needless to say that dog stood on it's back legs looked him straight in the eyes and said "you'll never not be an asshole but at least you'll feel my rage" and waved his magic stick he found at the park. That assholes ears turned into dog ears and he heard the agony of the dog whistle he was playing. He then turned it off apologized to the dog and brought him home with him. He's my dad now but anything could happen 58 bus rides from now.

I'm honored that you think I'm as smart as an artificial intelligence.

What happened to the stick?

MacaqueAndCheese@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 184d

The dog buried it in Nancy's back yard but Bruce found out about it and dug it up and gave it to someone else's dog. Who knows what that dog does with it but if I had to wager a guess I'd say he's using it as a sounding rod.

I know this guy who seemed to be unfamiliar with social norms. Basic shit like saying please and thank you. Then I met his mom, who was equally as ignorant as he was.

We went to her fast food, and I watched them both just stare at the cashier, grab their food, and just walk off. There were a few other examples of clearly missed social agreements that we all take for granted.

I'm 90% sure they weren't being cruel psychopaths to lowly cashiers.

But I'm also not sure where the line is for being neurodivergent versus just being an asshole.

I swear so many people at my work do this in the break room and locker room.

Had a guy at my bus stop do this every morning. Full volume with some cartoon stuff. I wonder if they even think at all about other people ever. Are we just npcs in their world?

Is this an actual game?

Kolanaki@pawb.social · 9 pts · 184d (2 replies)

Oblivion. You can choose custom class and it lets you name it. (also Morrowind, arena and daggerfall but this, specifically, is newer than those)

galaxy_nova@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 184d

Huh, never played anything earlier than Skyrim. Neat.

HerbalGamer@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 184d

Also recently remade so they're in luck.

Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 184d (1 reply)

Looks like Morrowind, or an earlier Elder scrolls. You can make, and name, your own custom classes.

FluffMongo@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 184d

If I'm not mistaken that would be Oblivion!
