Ten years later the Roberts Supreme Court comes through and undoes all of it. Because fucking of course they did.
I remember seeing a sketch some number of years ago about a time travler warning his past self about Betsy DeVos and the past version was shocked that things got bad enough that he knew who the secretary of education was.

Project 2025 was highly unpopular. People just didn't inform themselves before voting. I know people who voted for Trump who started freaking out about Project 2025. And I am here like "it was public, they didn't even try to hide it."
In their mildest defense knowledge existing doesn't mean it's accessiblity is known, if you don't know you should even be looking for a threat how could you possibly react to it? I am not alone in my disgust over an administration that would punish anyone, let alone members of Congress, for simply reminding service members of their legal duties. Finding that the Arizona senator had shown a substantial likelihood of success on the merits of his legal challenge, Judge Richard Leon wrote, “Defendants have trampled on Senator Kelly’s First Amendment freedoms and threatened the constitutional liberties of millions of military retirees.” Even for a judge who frequently disregards the judicial norm of avoiding exclamation points in his legal opinions, this one was extraordinary. “To say the least,” he wrote, “our retired veterans deserve more respect from their Government, and our Constitution demands they receive it!” Charging them with a crime for their free speech would be even more egregious.
I think it’s a case of oppinion for me being pro America would be to protect the American constitution and founder values of freedoms, report abuses of power, abuses on the constitution.
So I glad they are supporting more reporting on this to be pro America. Right?
Whats great about this is you can have whatever picture in picture you want and be doing whatever seems appropriate. Im thinking of selling american flag tissues.
As a former broadcaster, I know as well as anyone that the FCC has never had control over programming. But since no one in DC has the balls, I guess that's going to change.

I did the pledge of allegiance in elementary school. You just did it. It was unthinkable not to. Then they stopped with that bullshit.
Then I learned they changed the pledge to add the under god part and that was the moment I realized it had all been bullshit propaganda.
